-Robot Mode: Similar in build and structure to Rhinox, without the rhino parts in robot mode. His legs are cylindrically muscular, blue with techno-organic patches on his lower legs and has boots up to his knees. (techno-organic patches on boots) His torso is muscular with techno-organic material on his chest that form chest plates (two separate ones coming each pectoral) and a ab plate. His arms are cylindrically muscular with techno-organic patches on his shoulders and has metal gloves up to his elbows. There is techno-organic material on his back from the middle of his neck to his shoulder blades to the middle of his lower back, forming a diamond. His head is similar to Rhinox’s, except he doesn’t have the yellow stripe going across his head. Overall color scheme is blue. Often wears a long sleeve-less black leather trench coat and has a brown leather satchel that is slung over his neck and shoulders and it holds his war hammer, Mjolnir.

Personality: A kind and silent robot that cares a lot for his fellow robots and for his creations. He likes to make, fix, and fiddle with machines.

Weaponry:
-War Hammer: a mystical hammer that he found on an expedition on an alien planet. The head is made of unknown mystical metals and measures two feet tall, 4 feet long, and 1 foot wide. The handle, which measures 7 feet long, is made of tritanium and bound in leather, for comfort, and it is able to crush the average drone. He is able to channel energy through his hands, into his hammer, and is able to send a blast from the head or can strike the ground with the hammer and cause a minor earthquake, no matter the surface. He nicknamed his war hammer Mjolnir, after the God of Thunder’s hammer.

History: Brought online during the period of peace on Cybertron, Essex chose not to acquire a beast mode, so he could live more like his ancestors, the Autobots. He studied the art of engineering and became a top engineer. He later joined an expedition team and they were sent to explore alien planets. While on an alien planet, he found his war hammer, deep within a cavern. The group then returned to Cybertron, presented their findings to the Council of Elders, and once again became civilians. He then befriended Ace, a wily Maximal. Eventually, Megatron came and released the virus, but few had managed to get away, including Ace and Essex. They then formed the Underground together and recruited Maximals and Predacons alike to fight the oncoming onslaughts of Vehicons. During a battle, Essex disappeared and all Ace could find was his war hammer. He was never found by the Underground.
