As with most people doing Knight Rider conversions, my journey started years ago with the highly popular T.V. Series "Knight Rider" Starring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight who, with his high tec intelligent and often witty car code named K.I.T.T. fought all sorts of criminals. I always wanted a car like that, and now having grown up, I have discovered. . . I'm not alone! my new journey started at Knight Registries where I discovered that many had already accomplished my dream, and whats more? tons and tons of links on how to do it myself! excited and intrigued, I set myself out to find the first and most important part of my conversion. . . the car. After many dissapointing over-priced car searches, I finally found this one. An '89 Firebird Formula. A good solid little car with almost no body damage and a new engine (a GM 350 instead of the 305 it came with) for $3,000.00. She runs great, and needs very little work to get her in tip top running shape. So begins my journey, I estimate a 5 year project on this one and about $20,000 to be spent on the total conversion, and seeing as how this one is getting built paycheck to paycheck, check back often for continual updates on my car. Oh, one thing I should mention, I'm not building K.I.T.T. I've always been the one who secretly roots for the bad guy. No, my car will become K.I.T.T.'s predicessor, K.A.R.R. enjoy!

Working lots of overtime at work so that I can hopefully get KARR in the body shop by the end of May / beginning of June. Work is picking up :)
