Final Fantasy 8 had more realistic looking characters than 7, but I still feel 7 had better "in-fight" graphics than 8 does. That doesn't mean 8's weren't amazing, look at these screenshots!
One of the few areas FF8 had 7 beat in was surely FMV. These are simply amazing, movie quality!
