Part 14- Gurgu Volcano
So, where to next? Head back to Crescent Lake and go and see the circle of sages. One of them knows where to go next. This sage tells you to head to the Gurgu Volcano to take care of the fire fiend. So, that's where to head |

So where is the Gurgu Volcano? It's near the ice cave. If you can't find it go to where I am on the map. One of the reasons that I go to the Ice Cave before heading here is that the canoe ride here is fairly long. |
This is the Gurgu Volcano. Make sure you save it outside as always (I shouldn't have to say that by now) and then head on in. You have to enter by stepping on the top end of the volcano, stepping on the bottom won't do you any good. The enemies of the volcano aren't very hard, mainly because you are technically supposed to visit here before the ice cave. |

Welcome to the Gurgu Volcano. Notice the lava like squares on the ground. Stepping on these will cause damage to your party, like the ice cave. There are a lot of these squares in the volcano, so make sure you heal yourself frequently, the heal staff can come in very handy. The only enemies to watch for are red gargoyles that can use FIR2 to your whole party. This first floor has no treasure simply head to the west. |
These are the stairs to the 2nd floor, take them. The 2nd floor is huge. If you want to head straight to the next floor and forget about the enormous amount of treasure simply head to the left, the stairs are there, if you are getting the treasure go in the door nearest the stairs. |

Start by getting this chest containing a silver helmet. Then head south to get a chest with 1520G. Then head above the chest where you got the silver helmet. There are paths to the east and west, take the west one first first to get a giant sword and then head to the east path. |
Watch yourself when getting these treasures because they are guarded by FIREs. The FIREs are very strong and should not be taken lightly. Their fire attacks can hit the whole party at once. Use ICE2 against them or simply hit them with physical attacks. |

When you take the right path you'll come to this chest containing 4150G. Next head up and to the left and you'll come to 2 chests. They contain 795G and 750G. Then head down to a major treasure room. |
There is a TON of treasure in this room. They include: A HEAL, CABIN, silver helmet, silver gauntlets, 1975G, 1520G, PURE, 1455G, 1760G, a silver axe, silver shield, and another HEAL! |

Keep in mind that you can only hold so much stuff, especially armor. If you run out of space you might want to use EXIT and sell the stuff you don't need (namely all the silver stuff). Or you can just drop them if you don't think it's worth going back. |
After collecting all of this treasure you can head for the next floor. The stairs are in the bottom left hand corner of the room. |

This floor looks pretty confusing but it really isn't. The left and bottom paths are dead ends so simply head to the right. Watch you HP though, the damage floor/lava will start to wear it down. |
These are the stairs to the next floor. There is no treasure on this floor so don't worry about it. Head on down. |

The only thing that this floor has is lava. There is no treasure, simply head to the next floor, the stairs are in the southeast corner. |
No treasure on this floor either (sigh...). Head south at the beginning until you reach another intersection. Again watch for the lava, make sure you heal yourself so random monsters don't knock you out. |

When you reach this point head down on the left path. Then you'll have to go left through the tunnel until you reach the stairs to the next floor. There's only two more floors to go! |
-It's time to complete the Gurgu Volcano and take down the Fire Fiend. |
