Part 23- Final Battle

This is the water floor, so obviousely there are a bunch of water enemies. Head through this little room and then head to the southeast until you reach a row of columns. There are doors on both sides of this row of columns, take the door on the right. Head through that room.
At the end of that room head out the door and go into this room above it. Head left into the room with 3 weird stone tablet and head down through the door in that room. Head straight down until you reach an intersection.
At this intersection, take the path to the right, this will eventually take you to these stairs. But, before going on the stairs you'll have to fight the FIEND of water, Kraken.
Kraken is fairly difficult. His attacks aren't that powerful but he has high HP and high defense. Use LIT against him for some high damage. After defeating him, head on down the stairs to the wind FIEND floor.
This floor is fairly long and difficult. There is one very good treasure here though. Head down at the first intersection and then head down and right at every intersection.
You'll eventually come to this point. Continue southeast down this path and you'll come to a treasure.
This chest contains the sword Masmune the 2nd best sword in the game. The great thing about this sword is that anybody can equip it. So I highly recommend giving it to a white wizard. And if you don't have one of those give it to a black wizard. They will be able to do some significant damage now.
Now head back to the very start of the floor, back to the stairs. This time, take the right path. The 2nd intersection you come to will be here. Head to the right, but before you do make sure that you have the bane sword on somebody that cannot cast the BANE spell. For you will be fighting the FIEND Tiamat in the middle of the path.
Tiamat is fairly difficult, but you don't have the time to fool around. Just use the bane sword and the BANE spell to knock Tiamat out. You want to save you HP and NUKE for the final battle so just take care of him the easy way.
Then head right and up until you reach the very northeast corner. There you'll find the stairs to the next, and final floor.
This is the final floor of the dungeon and the entire game. There are no random battles here, or any treasure. The only thing to do is to head into the room in the center of the floor.
Make sure that you heal yourself fully. This is the final battle so heal yourself with everything you've got, the final battle is the hardest battle you've fought so far by far.
When you're absolutely sure that you're ready to battle, talk to the person in the room. It seems that the person controlling the time-loop was Garland. He says that you thought that you defeated him, but the FIENDS sent him back in time.
This whole time-loop thing is making a little more sense, even though it's still rather confusing. Garland sends the FIENDS into the future and they send Garland back into the past, and it happens over and over and over again.
Garland challenges you, but you won't be fighting Garland. Instead you'll be fighting a creature created from the four elements of the earth, CHAOS.
Chaos is extremely difficult. Almost all magic will be uneffective against Chaos. Use NUKE against him, it works the best. He has a massive 2000 HP and can fully restore it with CUR4 when he pleases. Use FAST on your knight, and try to get WALL up on everyone. Make sure your white wizard stays alive and that he heals your entire party. As long as your levels are in the low 30's then you won't have too much of a problem.
After you kill Chaos he will start to fade away. You've done it! Chaos and the FIENDS and Garland have all been defeated. Enjoy the ending. Thanks for using my walkthrough, I hope it helped you out.

-The time-loop is now broken! The 2000 year long battle is over. Peace prevails.

-Control of the four elements, the Earth, the Wind, the Fire, and the Water, again belongs to the earth.

-CHAOS was created from those four.

-Evil dominated the world and covered it in darkness.

But, it is over now, wrong has been set right!!

-The LIGHT WARRIORS are returning... As they travel in time, the world returns to normal.

-Sara and Jane wait for them... Of course, Garland does too.

But, when did it all happen?...

-Everything went mad in a day. The reason lies in the 2000 year Time-Loop.

-The FOUR chose to become one force, and fight against the four evil forces that set darkness upon the world.

When the four return, it will be to their past. All signs of the battle with the FORCES will be erased.

-But the legend will live on. Passed down by the Dwarves, the Elves, and the Dragons...

-Passed on by peoples unsure where the story came from.

-The LIGHT WARRIORS return from their journey back in time 2000 years.

-The memories stored deep in their hearts will protect the world.

-Never forget the good and true...

-Never turn the Four Powers to the dark side...

-And truth will always live in the hearts of the people.

-May the ORBS always shine!!...
