Part 4- Elfland

At Elfland the first thing you'll notice is how everybody talks about the Prince. One says save our prince, and another how the prince must awaken or the dark elf will dominate. Who is the dark elf? You will also notice how everything is extremely expensive, again you don't need to buy anything for now.
Another one of the elves talks about Astos and how he wears a disguise. Things are starting to get a little confusing. For now, let's head to the castle to see the prince and some more elves.
There is much to learn from the elves at the castle. It seems that 5 years ago this Astos character attacked the castle and put a curse on the prince. Interesting, but how do you cure the sleeping curse?
You can visit the prince and the elf standing next to him tells you that a HERB can cure the sleeping prince. You'll also notice a door in the upper right that's very tempting. Don't bother going to it, it's locked by the Mystic Key.
So, you need a HERB, how are you going to get one? An elf has the answer, Matoya has one. But, how are you going to get it from Matoya, maybe if you give the CRYSTAL... Well, that's all to see at the castle, head back to Elfland to decide where to go.
So now where do you go? An elf northeast of the item shop tells you about a northwest castle that he visited once. Since you have no idea where to go you might as well check it out. Pick up some PURE's before you go, they cure the poison that a lot of the enemies in this region use.

The journey to the NW castle can be long and dangerous, especially if your at level 4 or below. If your not at at least at level 5, I'd level up at sea or around Elfland for a while. When you're ready head northwest to the NW castle. It shouldn't be too hard to find, also make sure you save before you leave.
The northwest castle is as the elf described it, very dark and gloomy. The king of the castle isn't exactly the nicest guy either, he orders you to get his crown back from Astos from the Marsh Cave in the south. This Astos is a pretty mean guy. Nothing else to do here, another mystic key door is all. Head back to Elfland, you've got some major preparation to do.

-The Marsh Cave is much more difficult than any dungeon you've faced to this point. The enemies are the hardest you've fought to this point, the dungeon is long so you'll start to run out or HP, Magic, and PURE's. Remember all those shops I've told you to worry about later, well it's time to worry about them. But, this means you'll need a TON of money to do so. How are you going to get it. There's no real easy way, but the best is to fight ogres in the grasslands directly around Elfland. They give you the most money of any enemies in the region. It will still take a ton of time to beat that many ogres though. This is the absolute slowest and most boring part of the entire game, don't get discouraged though, the good parts are still to come. You should be at least at level 8 before venturing out. I've listed the stuff that I recommend that you buy, buy what you can of it and then set out to the Marsh Cave.

Recommend Equipment
Fighter- Silver sword, iron armor/shield, wooden hat, gloves.
Black Belt- Fists, copper bracelet, cap, gloves.
Thief- Sabre, copper bracelet, cap, gloves.

-Once you're prepared it's time to set out to the Marsh Cave.
