Maps

-Floor 1
-Floor 2
-Floor 3

OVERVIEW: Now that all three items required to get into Mysidia Tower have been collected it's time to go there. But, right before heading in Frioniel and the gang are swallowed by Leviathan and have to fight their way out.

I. Leviathan

-From Mysidia you'll have to sail all the way back to the Altea area to get to Mysidia Tower. On this map I am at Altea, see that crescent shaped formation to the left, that is where Mysidia Tower is located. Make sure you heal and then set out.
-When you get there you won't be able to go up to the tower. Instead you will be stopped and transported somewhere.
-Layla is now missing and you have no idea where you are. In reality you are now inside of Leviathan.

Leviathan

Treasure: Spiral Helmet, Power Armor, Power Gauntlet, Diamond Shield, Earth Sword

ElecFish 540 80 N/A N/A Bolt8
MantaRay 870 0 Bolt N/A N/A
SeaDragn 870 80 Bolt N/A Wave8

-The enemies in Leviathan are fairly tough. These SeaDragn have 870 HP each and have a powerful Wave8 attack that can easily take 100 HP from all of your characters. They are very weak against bolt magic so use it against them. MantaRays are very similar enemies, use bolt against them as well. But don't use bolt against ElecFish's, it'll heal them.
-The stuff on the floor is actually stomach acid and will take away 1 HP for every step you step on it. However, there are no random battles when walking on it. The first floor of Leviathan is a straight forward path. There are two treasures the first of which is a spiral helmet, equip it on one of your characters.
-The next treasure is power armor. It is not as strong as black and flame armor but it is stronger than knight armor.
II. A Town of Captives

-On the next floor pick up these power gauntlets, they're the best gauntlets to this point in the game so equip them right away.
-Eventually you will come to this man blocking your path. Show him the crystal rod and he will tell you that there is a way out but the exit is blocked by a beast.
-He then reveals himself to be Richard, a dragoon. He will then join your party, it seems he was also seeking the spell Ultima.
-Richard is actually a pretty good 4th chracter. He doesn't have any magic or magic skills but he has a lot of power and can pack quite a punch. He can actually help in battles unlike Layla and Gordon.
-Now it's time to talk to some of the other people down here. This man informs you that Leviathan is a protector of the ultima seal. He swallows anyone that has a crystal rod.
-The other captives of Leviathan don't have a whole lot of interesting things to say so head to the next floor, the stairs are in the northwest corner, here.
III. Escape

-Leviathan is a very small dungeon, this is the last floor. One thing nice about Leviathan is that all of the treasure is very good. This floor is no exception, there are two treasures, one to the north and one to the south. Get the north one first.
-This treasure contains an earth sword, the best sword to this point in the game. Give it to Frioniel, it's a big improvement over the winged sword.
-Then head south and get this diamond shield. Once again this is the best shield to this point in the game so equip it right away as well. Now head west to the boss of the dungeon.
-You'll see a boat that you can escape on but it's being blocked by the boss of Leviathan, the Worm.

Worm 2000 0 N/A N/A N/A

-The Worm is a fairly tough foe but nothing you can't handle. It has 2000 HP and no weakness. Use physical attacks and magic only if you have very high magic with a strong magic user. It should only take a couple rounds of physical attacks to kill the Worm. If any of your characters get low on HP make sure that they're healed but the battle shouldn't go on long enough for you to have to worry about that.
-After the battle you're transported back right where you started. Time to go to Mysidia Tower but first you have some preparation to do.
