Hi! My name's Buttercup. You probably don't know me, but I help Lemon Drop watch after Baby Countdown. This page tells a bit more about him and also has some pictures, and it should be much more interesting than hearing about my klutzy exploits. Maybe someday I'll get a page dedicated to me, but in the meantime, here's the scoop on Countdown.
Ever since he could remember, Baby Countdown wanted to fly into space. Flying out among the clouds would be great, too, just as long as it was flying.
There was just one problem: he didn't have wings like a pegasus, or even magic like the unicorns did. He was just an earth pony, seemingly destined to remain earthbound forever. After all, how can you fly without wings?
This realization hurt quite a bit. The other earth ponies and even the unicorns and pegasi tried to tell him that he could achieve his dream another way, but it's hard for a baby pony to see the big picture like that. And so he tried to forget about his dream of space flight . . .
