Transmode Virus Conversion: Regain health by converting living, organic objects into a techno-organic form. He regains health equal to the material strength or the health of the target. He does this with Mn ability. Living creatures converted now become part of the Phalanx Collective mind, what they knew, the Phalanx know.

Transmode Virus Infection: they may infect other living creatures (same as above) only the infector gains no health, but the infected organic creature becomes a member of the phalanx after 10 turns when they have been fully converted by into their new T-O body.

Adaptation: any powers that are used offensively against the phalanx will be adapted to with ShX ability and rendered ineffective. The attack may be used (if specified to be slightly altered by PC, eg, different spectrum, band width, etc.) the same number of times as the powers rank number (EX=20 times.)

Serial Teleportation: may "teleport" anywhere else in one turn as long as their is a constant Crystalline Matrix(techno-organic) connection. Example- Harvest can teleport in one turn from the outermost edge to the inside of the Phalanx hive since it all consists of T-O matter.

Since his appearance, we all knew that Bastion wasn't not a man, even if it seemed so. There were some evidences about this: Phoenix couldn't read his mind, because it was not there. Also, Bastion referred to someone in his thoughts as creators, not father. He has a Techno-Organic body, from which all of his powers come from.

Originally, none, except for a possible ability to detect mutants. As Template, he was a techno-organic being with all the shape-shifting and technological control abilities of such an organism. The being once known as Bastion is actually Nimrod / Master Mold, last seen in Uncanny #247. His mission is to "protect" humanity by destroying mutantkind. To that end, he formed Operation: Zero Tolerance, which captured the X-Men, cleaned out the Mansion, and was responsible for turning many innocent people into "sleeper/prime" Sentinels. After OZT was shut down by S.H.I.E.L.D., Bastion was taken to the Helicarrier for study. He escaped, sporting new energy-blasting and flight abilities. He then returned to the old OZT base where he corrupted Machine Man's programming, forcing him to fight Cable. Bastion then combined with the Master Mold and apparently turned (back) into Nimrod. Somehow, however, Bastion was apparently recaptured, reverted to his original appearance, and was the subject of further studies at the Hulkbuster base. This continued until Death III arrived to destroy the Mannites hiding there. Death also destroyed Bastion's body. Left as a talking head, Bastion taunted the X-Men who came to investigate, and was left there when the base exploded. Weeks later, the villainous Mainspring's Gatekeeper robots found Bastion's head. However, Bastion's advanced nanotech construction took control of one of the robots and used it as its new body. When he got back to Mainspring, though, Mainspring was able to strip away the Bastion and Nimrod layers of programming to reveal the original Master Mold. Then Mainspring rewrote his new "Template's" programming with the Transmode Virus. Template was sent to capture Warlock II and his friends on Muir Island and then to transmode the New York Stock Exchange. Unfortunately, his Phalanx programming was in control by now, and he built a new Babel Spire to signal the Technarch. Mainspring finally destroyed himself and the space station where he and Template were located, and Warlock managed to shut down the Babel Spire. However, if Template was a true Transmode being, he probably survived the station's destruction.
