HISTORY:
Tao (Tactically Augmented Organism) is the most enigmatic member of the new WildC.A.T.S. Not much is known about his past, except that he was created by Optigen Inc and that he is somehow mentally enhanced. The reasons behind his agreement to join the WildC.A.T.S. are not really clear to us, neither if he has any other powers. Apparently, he may be psichyc in some level, since he can manipulate people into doing whatever he wants in so subtle a way that those he influences do not realize they are being used until it's too late.

In the series, Tao was responsible for starting a War between the super-heroes and villains, creating total chaos in New York City. Savant fell in love with him, but he betrayed her trust when she got accidentaly shot by Grifter and he calmly walked away, without looking back.

Tao seems to be a harmless man, but in fact, he can be considered one of the most dangerous individuals the C.A.T.S. have ever faced. Unlike most of their enemies, Tao possesses a terrible asset on his side: His own mind, so developed that his intelligence may be in a far superior level than most humans. Tao is cold and logic, willing to do whatever it takes to reach his objectives.

Recently, (see WildC.A.T.S.#50), Savant received a letter from someone claiming to be the deceased Tao. Whether he has truly returned from the dead or not remains to be seen.
