One Last Wish

I lay in my deathbed, wondering,
"What's the use of this heart?"
Girl, why did you you have to walk out,
Tearing my soul apart?

I prayed to God to answer me
To answer my one last wish
That the girl I loved,
Would give me one last kiss...

As the minutes ticked by,
My heart was filled with gloom,
Then it all went away,
The minute you walked in the room.

You held my hand and told me,
"I still love you..."
And I replied back to her,
"I feel the same way too"

Then she leaned down
And gave me one last kiss
And I knew I would die happy,
With my fulfilled wish.

I smiled at her and whispered
"Good-bye... my dear,
Don't forget me for my heart
Will always remain here..."

And I passed away with her in my arms...
