Pepsi Poem- HASHBROWN
Here I am broken hearted,
Staring at a sign,
I wish I had a Pepsi,
But they cost one sixty nine,
I have only 2 Quarters,
Found them under the couch yesterday,
Yet that is still not enough,
The Pepsi seems so far away,
I think about that Pepsi,
Feel touching my dry lip,
OH! So refreshing,
I take another sip,
I come back to reality,
Realize my great thirst,
If I don't get a Pepsi now,
I fear my mind may burst,
DAMN YOU STUPID VENDING MACHINE!
DAMN YOU DOWN TO HELL!
I shook the machine so furiously,
Then it slowly fell,
It smacked against the pavement,
Pepsi cans went everywhere,
My heart stopped at that moment,
I took a huge gasp of air,
My eyes lit up,
Quickly thanked the lord, (I'm not Religious by the way)
I ran as fast as I could,
But tripped on the power cord,
I smacked against the pavement,
Blood went everywhere,
My heart raced at that moment,
I took a huge gasp of air,
I could not feel below my hips,
There was blood all over my hands,
I almost gave up hope,
But I went on and crawled towards the cans,
I was so very close,
Could smell the Pepsi strong,
I almost was there,
It took me so very long,
They took me to hospital,
They carried me away,
I never got that Pepsi
That's all I have to say,
