Hold Field (#8202)
You walk along a small path through a large open field. Tall billowing stalks of wheat blows back and forth in an almost hypnotic pattern. You hear the gentle laughter of small children playing one of hundreds of games, ringing from some distant part of the field, lost in the sheets of wheat. Some small patch calls out to you as you pass it, asking for you to join it in another day of doing nothing. It promises to hide you from the gaze of all others and keep you company. But to listen ... or go on ... a tough decision ....
It is a winter sunset. The sun's rays lengthen, going through shades of red and gold and purple, as it sinks below the western horizon. The first stars - and the Dawn Sisters - appear in the sky.
Green Alymath is here.
You see Gar Hold Herdbeasts, Mavrick's Wagon, Rarah's Wagon, Regal Jester, Large Table Full Of Delicious Food, Waldo, and Barrels here.
Alexander, Lis, Breck, Asroj, and Orpheus are here.
Obvious exits:
Gar Hold Courtyard - Herb Garden - StarCraft Courtyard - Gar Gardens - Crystal Lake - Vintner Fields

Orpheus attempts to look totally and utterly innocent; if possible, one could even see the halo forming above his head. Smiling his sweetest at Lis, he nevertheless decides silence may be the best course as Alexander plunges ahead. With a smothered burst of laughter, he turns away to chuckle--at least he isn't laughing in Alexander's face, though.

Alexander plunges on ahead like a wagon without a driver. "I mean, according to my calculations..." If Alex had specs, he'd probably push them up his nose to make him look smarter, "You're young at heart, I'd rather be older, and if we got really, really drunk, that'd just about make up for the gap..."

From Gideon's shoulder, Rei peers down at Lis, cooing softly. He buts his head into Gideon's for a moment, looking at him intently, to which Gideon just shrugs, reaching up to idly scratch the little bronze flit behind his eye ridges.

"Well, you just look sort of young for your age. But still," and the look Lis gives Alexander is decidedly maternal. Orpheus is again the recipient of another glare from the greenrider. She can't let him crush the poor kid's hopes. "/What/?" is shrilled as she turns back to Alexander, noticing that ?drunk' bit. 'Drunk' never has any good implications.

Poor Orpheus. Really. He returns the glare with a wounded look, unable to keep the smirk of his lips. He does, however, manage to shut off the laughter. "Ah--aren't you a bit young to be getting drunk yet?" he asks, eyes appraising Alexander--and a flicker of recognition dawns in his eyes. "Wasn't it you we had to return to your grandmother the other day?"

Alexander nods casually. "You betcha!" Alex mirrors Orpheus' wounded look, giving his best poor little kiddie expression. "Aww... I asked five years ago and you guys wouldn't let me!"

Finally, Lis has to look towards Gideon for any help, before turning sorrowful eyes back down to Alexander. "Aww, sweets... I think you're much too young for me, if you can't even drink yet," she tells the boy as kindly as possible, brows furrowed in a constant concerned frown.

Darman strides in from the Gar Hold Courtyard.

Darman (#13366)
A 5'6 tall male with a gaunt build. His posture is near perfect as his gate is fluid and almost graceful. His brown hair is well groomed and clean, though a good eye would make out a faint beginnings of a bald spot developing towards the rear part of the top of his head. His facial features are all well pronounced. His eyes are deep brown that seem piercing and scrutinizing everything they see. Around the eyes are bush eyebrows and crowsfeet from the corners. It appears that his eyes are the most aged feature of his face. His nose is a little on the bigger side in proportion to his head but not as to appear ugly. His cheeks are baggy, thus giving him the appearance of having 'jowels'. His mouth is somewhat small. His hands are big and somewhat strong, but they are ever so gentle.
Darman wears his usual work clothing. His green tunic features embroidery about the cuffs and neckline. This embroidering is in the shapes of different floral patterns and is done in brown thread. The embroidery itself looks simple in nature. His trousers are brown and made of cotton like fibers. The cuffs of his trousers rest perfectly about his ankles. About his waist is a black belt. He wears brown shoes with thick soles to keep the heat out. He can be seen commonly wearing a leather apron and a hammer can be seen hanging at his waist.
Darman wears the knot of a Smithcraft Journeyman
Darman is 33 Turns, 1 month, and 17 days old.

Darman strides to the Crystal Lake.

Breck smiles at the silly conversation and is glad she doesn't have to worry about such issues. Although it is odd to think of herself as 'settled', she does love it!

Orpheus is amused--that's the only way to put it. "You would've been what--all of five turns old or so then?" Sapphire eyes regarding the boy appraisingly, Orph simply shakes his head once then offers his advice in a whispered aside: "Just wait a few turns, then approach her again. Wait until you grow a bit." Like at least to her shoulder.

Gideon waves, suddenly a bit more alert as he sees Darman hurry by. He nods apologetically to Lis. "I'm afraid I'd better run right now. I need to help set up the fi... the surprise for later." He grins, then rushes toward the lake.

Gideon quietly strides to the Crystal Lake.

Crystal Lake (#4862)
As you walk along the path, you find yourself near the center of the valley. Situated here, is Crystal Lake. This lake is named for its clarity. At nearly 100 feet, things can still be seen as if they were closer! Unfortunately, this is also a danger, as one has trouble gauging depth, so swimmers beware! A natural spring feeds the lake from underneath, keeping it a nice 80 degrees, even in the winter, though it can get much warmer in the summer. A large square has been set up a short distance for the shoreline.
You see a swing, Dance Platform, Boy's Night Out Question Deck, Gar White Wine, Observatory DistanceViewer, and Gar Holder's Tent here.
Darman is here.
Obvious exits:
Hold Field - Gar Gardens - Banyan Tree

Wufei glides in from the Hold Field.

Darman is unloading a wagon with a bunch of wooden crates.

Gideon hurries over to help Darman. "Here, I can take care of that," he offers, reaching for a crate. "Shall we start a fire?" he adds in a rather rushed voice.

Darman nods. "Yes, but we must first prepare the crowd lines. They must not get too close."

Gideon nods quickly. "Aye, quite true." He carefully sets his crate on the ground. "I can do that... how about using that rope there," he adds, frowning slightly. "I'm terribly sorry, but I've never done this before."

Darman nods. 'Neither have I." He leaves Gideon to the crowd control work and goes about setting up each firework and laying out the lighting sticks. Once that is done he sets about to prepare a fire

Gideon quickly goes about setting up the rope "fence", well enough away from the fireworks set-up area. He glances over at Darman. "Is this far enough?" he calls out, trotting back towards the other Smith.

Arinna laughs, and skips in from the Hold Field.

Shava walks in from the Hold Field.

Jethro walks in from the Hold Field.

Darman says, "Yes, Make sure everyone knows not to cross that rope. I will not tolerate anyone else in any more danger than we are? or at least safety is important. Remember to grab those goggles out of the wagon along with the gloves and aprons"

Dorothy glides in from the Hold Field.

Alexander walks in from the Hold Field.

Lis ambles aimlessly in from the Hold Field.

Orpheus pads softly in from the Hold Field.

Wufei suddenly disappears ::between::!

Darman lights the fire and dons his apron and gloves, resting the goggles over his forehead.

Asroj walks in from the Hold Field.

Kamas glides in from the Hold Field.

Kristiana walks in from the Hold Field.

Torkenz walks in from the Hold Field.

Lythande walks in from the Hold Field.

Alexander looks as euphoric as the Garish sunset washing the horizon. Sitting down beside the swing- he's too smart to actually get *on* it, he looks around for someone to tell about his new *girlfriend*. Sorta. Whatever. Oooh.

Gideon nods quickly at Darman, and runs over to the wagon, tucking a pair of goggles and gloves behind his belt. He quickly ties on an apron, then puts on the pair of gloves, as he walks toward the rope fence. He glances over at the assembling people. Gathering his voice, he calls out. "Attention! Attention everyone! I know you're all excited, and we have quite a show in store for you. However!" he shouts, making sure he has everyone's attention, "Make sure you /do not/ cross this fence! Understood?"

Shava looks at all the work the smiths are putting in for the display, and she finds a place to sit and watch the show. She leans up a tree that's relatively close to the lake, but she makes sure that she's behind the fence, just as Gideon said.

Darman calls out. "Ladies and Gentlemen! As soon as we are prepared we will begin. First, some rules. Do not cross that rope line. These things are dangerous. Next, It is going to be loud and unpredictable. Some won't go off, some will explode. It is the nature of the beast. Gideon here, will be safety officer as well as help ignite them.

Arinna bobs her head up and down slowly, in a late response to Gideon's warning.

Lis arrives, hand in hand with a little child. Ordinarily, this would be cute. If it wasn't Lis. The greenrider settles down next to Alexander, turning back to send a grin and a roll of eyes towards Orpheus. Finally, though, attention turns towards Gideon and the other smiths - and fireworks to come.

Gideon quickly wraps the goggles around his forehead as he makes sure everyone has understood his instructions, then grins, not able to help himself from waving at a few familiar faces. Not that he loves attention or anything. He turns, returning to Darman.

Lythande sits down out of the way, but in a position to see, and continues to rub her knee.

Dorothy simply chitters, gliding down to land a safe distance away from the rope all the humanpets are avoiding. If they must avoid it, she must, too. She's ever-so-valuable to Pern.

Slipping in behind Lis and her charming young--companion--Orpheus watches the pair with more than a hint of his customary smirk. Voice pitched low, he aims his next comment at Lis in a near whisper: "Catching them young?" Glancing back up at the smiths, he makes sure he is well away from the line marked by rope, turning to regard Alexander solemnly. "May I join you two? You seem to have a prime spot."

Kristiana relaxes on the grass beside Lyth, watching her tend to her knee. "How's it feeling?"

Darman says, "We are not liable for any scared firelizards neither"

Zoomba walks in from the Hold Field.

Darman speaks to Gideon. "Are we prepared?"

Kristiana motions for Zoomba to come join them on the grass.

Lythande tries to smile but winces instead, "I've been on it too much."

Gideon tugs at his gloves making sure they're secure. He glances at the crowd again, then nods to Darman. "Aye, we should be," he responds.

Alexander leans against Lis with a giddy sigh. Ahhh... He elbows Orph irritatedly. "Hey," he whispers in a hiss, "I'm doing this to annoy Arc too. So don't give her all the credit." He extricates himself from Lis and decides it'd be more tactful to lean against the Banyan tree instead.

Rei quickly flies over toward the greenrider and her young companion, settling to the ground next to them. He watches the event with quickly twirling eyes, blue and green, but tinged with a bit of red.

Torkenz scoots in, the words music to his large, canine-like ears. He's not late. With a waggle of his eyebrows to those present, particularly a few young ladies he notes, he just scoots forward, plunking himself on the ground. "Ahhh," he mumbles, grin widening. "Lovely time, too." And loud... You have to love a good commotion.

Ema walks in from the Hold Field.

Tadiera walks, a far-off look on her face in from the Hold Field.

Nynaeve casually walks, with a smile upon her lips, in from the Gar Gardens.

"Hey, /I/ was caught this time," Lis retorts in that same, low whisper back at Orpheus, trying to keep her dignity in the whole situation. As Alexander moves away, she adds, "And he was busting to sit next to me as it was, Archellian or otherwise!"

Casiys bounces, purple hair and all in from the Hold Field.

Thessalonike blinks in from ::between::!

Thessalonike settles on Alexander's shoulder with a light flutter of wings. She looks away with whirling sapphire eyes and chirrs at Rei admonishingly. Don't be mean to her humanpet...

Casiys trails Tadiera down to the lakeside, a small smile as he studies the sky a moment "Been a nice day...I remember this place too...been here several times..."

Slipping one leg beneath him, Orpheus slides onto a spot on the ground next to Lis; slipping the last few inches, he lands with a soft 'pumph' and a sheepish smile. Graceful of him, wasn't it? "Arc wanted to sit next to you?" he repeats, vague surprise coloring his words. "Or Alexander wanted to--or both?"

Lythande mutters something about wounds that don't heal as she hits a really tender spot.

Darman nods. "Very well. As people enter, please relate to them the rules. Follow them, and no one will be hurt." He then proceeds to one of the firesticks and lights it. It glows red as he proceeds to the first batch of fireworks. he yells "CLEAR" before igniting the fuses and getting out of the way. (repose so I can see it)

Lis gives Alexander's hand a warm little squeeze - she doesn't mind the leaning, really - before turning an utterly confused expression on Orpheus. "What?" That just says it all.

Gideon places his goggles safely over his eyes, crouching down.

It only takes a couple seconds, then the first flash of light comes! A dazzling array of red, followed by white as the large display explodes across the sky. Only a moment latter a large /boom/ is heard, thundering softly through the ground. Soft crackles are heard in the darkening night sky. Not a bad start for the Gather night.

Ema walks to the Hold Field.

Nynaeve hears the word "wound" and looks around in curiosity.

Darman pulls the goggles down as well and looks up to watch.

Deverell blinks in from ::between::!

"Drat, and I wouldn't mind a trip to the healers today," Torkenz drawls lightly, leaning back as he kicks back and relaxes. Might as well enjoy the day. But the first flash of light and crashing sound results in him jumping, startled, before flopping back on the ground with a quick applaud. "Lovely! Never seen something like this before..." He's as eager as a puppy to see the light show, now.

Tadiera mms to Cas, "I admit... I haven't been here often." She entwines an arm with his, "Its been a good day, though."

Zoomba ooohhhhsss.

About to reply to Lis, Orpheus instead gives a near squeak at the first boom. Raising a hand to rub his ears, he squints at the night sky. A bit overloud, he says, "What a beginning. A bit louder than I thought, though."

Thessalonike launches herself from Alexander's shoulder to chase the odd designs shooting across the sky. She can catch anything. Alexander looks up with a "hey" as the talons leave him, followed by an awestruck "Holy crap!" as the fireworks flash and sound rolls across the lake. He'd always thought it was literary convention to say rolling thunder... until now.

Gideon watches the display for a moment, caught by it's beauty, but quickly remembers his duty. Also grabbing a firestick, he kneels a safe distance away from the next firework rocket, and makes sure the end of the cord is lit before scooting away. The rocket suddenly launches into the air!

Jethro glazes. "Wow! So beautiful! Ooooooo! A red one! My favorite!:

Shava watches the burst of light and grins. But she cringes at the sound of the boom, but it's something she could get used to.

Casiys smiles lightly, settling into the grass in an empty spot, and pulling Tadiera with him. "Very good." he breaths a little wow, studying the sky.

Nynaeve walks over to Torkenz and asks, "Pardon me, but did I hear you mention - needing a trip to the healers?" She asks.

Lis is dazzled completely by the flash and sparkle of the first firework, cringing closer to Orpheus as the boom thunders to her ears. "/Shells/, but that's loud..." The hand connect to Alexander's squeezes hard in fear - protect her?

With a soft Boom! The next firework arcs into the sky gracefully, yellow sparks flying behind it in its trail... suddenly A large circular display of green flame billows out from the center of the yellow streaming rocket.

Tadiera decides to flop into Cas' lap, and settle in, head tilts slightly and she just... blinks, twitching a bit. Hee. Yes, the journeywoman was momentarily frightened. Shush.

Masoren strolls with a confident stride in from the Hold Field.

Jethro stares. "Cool!!!!! I should come more often! Hehe!:

Tallanvor chirps into Nyn's ear - obviously he is frightened.

Casiys mms quietly, and snuggles Tad closer against him. "Don't be silly love, you?re perfectly safe." He kisses her cheek "C'mon, enjoy the show."

Torkenz's gaze shifts slightly, brown eyes widening as someone comes over to speak to him. And he thought his rants would scare everyone off. A slow smile creeping on his face, he just shrugs lightly. "Only if I end up a fool tonight and come to close to the fireworks, catching my tunic on fire or tripping again. Though if such a lovely person as yourself would be there, and I could get something for this headache of mine, my feet might be able to arrange it."

Masoren walks out.

Arinna is awed. She's never been to gathers before, but what a lovely display!

Menley walks in from the Hold Field.

Alexander gives Lis' hand a returning squeeze, but otherwise is silent and enraptured, watching the fire blossoms paint the sky and hurt his ears. "Ohh, look, Lis, that one looks like a tree," he says pointing and breaking his silence. Sparing a glance downwards, he notices the reflection of the fireworks in the lake, painting it in vibrant colors. "Oooh.."

Orpheus starts slightly at the somewhat softer boom that next burst bestows upon the crowd. Squinting slightly at the flare of light, he leans forward a bit--as though he'll really see it better--before glancing back at Lis and Alexander with a flash of a very white smile. "Loud, but quite amazing, I'd say. I've never seen anything quite like it."

Asroj walks to the Hold Field.

Nynaeve blinks in surprise and can't help but blush at the comment the young man just made. "Ahem, I ..uh, thank-you. Perhaps I may be able to help that headache of yours now." She manages to smile.

Menley the little girl, looks around wide-eyed.

Tadiera laughs, snuggling against Cas, "Oh, fine, so it didn't scare you in the slightest?"

Z'diah cartwheels in from the Hold Field.

Darman grins and takes his firestick over to the next array and lights it. The Yellow streaks start immediately and he runs away and ducks to watch.

Torkenz continues with his light grin, only shrugging again. "If you could, I'd be forever grateful. The shardin' thing has been around all day. Not that I'd miss this," he gestures towards the display in the sky, "for it. Too much fun to consider. But I've been warned that healers make a nasty brew to cure things." The grin deepens, the young man giving a friendly wink.

As the rocket reaches the top of its arc there is a faint /pop/. Then an array of sparkling lights appears, followed by rather loud crackling noises before the lights disappear into the night.

Casiys laughs quietly "Maybe a little, but not much." he tickles her lightly "Your very silly. Now watch, your missing it."

"Oh it does!" Lis exclaims as Alexander points out the botanical resemblance, following the drop in gaze - just to make sure it's clean, you know - to notice the lake. "Orpheus - oh! - just /look/ at the lake. It's... beautiful."

Zoomba ahhhhsss.

Jethro ooooosssssss!

Gideon quickly shuffles over to the next rocket and lights the end of the lighting cord. After a pause the rocket goes shooting out into the air... and directly into the lake. With a grunt, Gideon moves to the next rocket, not wanting to keep his watchers and listeners waiting. He mutters softly to himself but lights the next rocket which flies high up into the sky.

Alexander follows the course of the rocket's trajectory with his eyes, then sort of stops moving his eyes when the rocket apparently shatters into a thousand pieces. He pokes Orpheus softly. "Hey, I wonder how it looks like through the distanceviewer....... Are you a starry?"

July walks in from the Hold Field.

Nynaeve almost misses a step after the wink, but keeps on going, "Well, let me see, I'll try to find something you might be able to handle." She grins over at the young man sitting near him, and then sits next to him.

Jethro looks up in the sky and notices Lainnoth, recognizing Lainnoth from Khia. Jethro waves, then directs his attention at the fireworks. "They're marvelous!!!!"

Menley watches the others then looks towards the lake.

Orpheus glances at lake obligingly, intending to humor the two of them. His gaze rivets their, a soft 'oh' shaping his lips. "That's--something," he agrees, murmuring softly. The poke, however earns half a glare before he rolls his eyes ever so slightly at Alexander, a smile on his lips as he does so. "Yes, I am, but I haven't any idea what it looks like either. I like it just fine from down here, actually."

Jethro walks to the Hold Field.

Jethro walks in from the Hold Field.

Torkenz chuckles slightly, scooting over to allow her a little room. "That would be great. I can't stand some of the stuff I've smelled walking past those infirmaries... Even a slacker like me can run when needed!" Making a face, he shudders slightly before his gaze returns to the sky. "I suppose a good hit in the head with one of those mallets of yours might help."

Alexander nods, amusing himself before the next firework by watching the image of the shimmery pieces cascade in the lake. He smiles in contentment.... this is the life... and with fireworks in the sky *and* the lake, it's like two shows, really.

"It's all so lovely," Lis breathes at the various lights in the sky, still cringing at those booms when they do come. The greenrider lets out happy sigh, all ready to settle against something. Any takers?

Nynaeve watches the sky in wonder, but then shifts her gaze to the young man near her, "Ah, I see. Oh, I Nyn - and you are?" She smiles warmly.

Zoomba walks over to Kristiana. "Beautiful, isn't it ? "He asks.

Kristiana nods, staring up at the sky. "Yes, it is."

Alexander is perfectly happy to be settled against. He leans against Lis obligingly, inhaling the smell of husky smoke in the air and listening with alert senses to the oohs and ahhs and booms and pops, very glad that there isn't an audio version of a distance viewer.

Tadiera gives a grin to Cas, before settling against him, head tilted against his shoulder as she watches.

Jethro sits down, watching this marvelous wonder of the heavens. "Wow, I've never seen anything like this. It's astonishing. Oh, the lake is so beautiful..." He then stops realizing something. "Why am I talking to myself? I'm wierd! Oooo! A yellow one...."

Orpheus is also perfectly happy to be settled against, but Alexander /is/ her--boyfriend, or such. Gaze turned to the sky, he falls silent for a long moment as he leans back, propping himself up with his hands.

Lilinia walks in from the Hold Field.

Nynaeve rummages through her satchell for some herbs.

Melsa walks in from the Hold Field.

July steps away for a moment to scrawl out a message to someone.

Suddenly the rocket emits loud whistling noise, the yellow streaks start turning around in circles and spins ever faster..faster..faster..until BOOOOOM! A loud bang erupts along with a burst of bright light.

July returns, sending a firelizard off to deliver the message.

Gideon leans over toward the next rocket and lights the end. Before he's even a step away, the rocket leaps into the air, followed by a blast. Much too early, the premature blast sends Gideon falling to the ground. He turns around, a bit dazed, but quickly gets to his feet, brushing a hand over his mouth. A light sulfurous smell wafts across the night air, reaching the watching crowd.

Nynaeve jumps up and ends up sitting closer to the young man near her, which causes a very red blush to appear on her face.

Lis wouldn't mind another - especially one a /bit/ closer to her age. But Alexander's snuggling is received with an avuncular smile, insofar as a female can manage. By some miracle of physics, the greenrider leans against Orpheus as well, letting out a sharp squeal at the spinning, exploding rocket.

"I'm Torkenz, though most call me something else. Tork, Tenz, 'get away from me'...." Torkenz once more grins brightly, curls bobbing as he nods slightly. "You can call me whatever you want, though. And it's nice to meet you." His own surprise at the boom results in him falling back, letting out a high-pitched yelp, then a laugh at Nyn's blush. He's not that fazed, nope.

Tallanvor suddenly disappears ::between::!

Zoomba laughs and sings loudly.

Casiys smiles lightly as he watches the sky as well...arms lightly encircling Tadiera, and just watching the sky. "Oh, I have a present for you."

Darman goes over to check Gideon. Seeing he's not the worse for wear, he goes over to the next bundle and decides to light two bundles this time. PSSS and PSS and then scoot! He jets away to watch them fly.

Kristiana eyes Zoomba quizzically, then shrugs.

July silently watches the fourth firework from her shadowy position under the tree, content to not interact with the distant people in their little groups...

Zoomba looks into Kristiana's eyes. "Did I ever tell you how lovely you look in the moonlight ?"

Tadiera tilts head to the side a little, pondering Cas with a blink, "Oh?"

Rei leaps into the air, flying straight towards Gideon, his light chirps sounding agitated. However, Gideon brushes the little flit away. "I'm fine, you silly thing," he says softly with a smile.

Nynaeve looks over at Tenz, "Nice to meet you." She manages behind a blush and a laugh.

Miracle of physics or not, Orpheus seems quite content--until a loud 'boom' sends him jumping ever so slightly. Meep. Glancing at Lis sheepishly, he relaxes once again with a soft laugh. "Loud." Yup.

Astrei stumbles clumsily in from the Hold Field.

Casiys mms quietly as he watches the sky. "Yes, now watch the show."

Kristiana chuckles, blushing. "Oh, Zoomba! You're incorrigible!"

One swift brilliant light is seen, which all too quickly winks out of sight, but not a moment later an almost deafening /BOOM!/ is heard, thundering through the night sky, making the very ground tremble. Fast on its heels, the second rocket bursts into fire, brilliant blues melding with the dark black sky.

Zoomba takes Kris's hand.

Kristiana leans against Zoomba, watching the fireworks, hoping that none of her Masters show up.

Alexander eeps and curls into Lis in a fetal position, trembling slightly.

Astrei's eyes grow wide, like a childs would. Bright and sparkly!

Tadiera tilts head back, studying the 'works. "Its not fair to inform me that you have a present for me, and not tell me, or show me what it is..."

Torkenz just raises a blondish eyebrow, shaking his head slightly. "Oh, you may not think that soon enough... I have a habit of making people run away screaming." A puzzled frown creeps up on his expression. "And I'm not entirely sure why." But he glances back at Nyn, grin once more there. "You have a nice laugh, you know. That's important. Too many people don't use theirs enough, and it sounds all rusty."

Lilinia ends up sitting by herself to watch the fireworks. Looking at the blue firework fall to the earth. Smiling to herself she sits, enjoying it as much as one can by themselves.

Shava watches the fireworks with great ahh, ignoring the great booms now from the rockets. When she smells the sulfur she cringes her now, obviously not liking the smell. She noticed that Gideon was on the ground, not lighting rockets and just hopes that he's alright from whatever knocked him down.

"Shards 'n shells," Orpheus murmurs, eyes widening at the show in the sky. The hand on the side away from Lis is pulled up to rub at his ears; Orph is not quite sure he'll be hearing fine come morning.

Lis is surrounded by males on both sides, and even though one or the other jumps - not to mention herself - she's got a grin lighting up her face like those fireworks overhead. "Aw, poor thing..." is her coo'd comment over the curled-up Alexander, one arm curled around him.

Gideon has to grab a second firestick, as his first winked out in a smoldering heap when he fell to the ground. He quickly runs over to the fireworks however and lights the next two, sending them shooting out into the evening sky.

Casiys smiles lightly, "Well I won't have it to show till it's done silly."

Nynaeve smiles at Tenz, "Thankyou. I think that, you're just very intimidating - when first met. You're very friendly and open, ut I think that's a good thing." She smirks while looking up at the sky.

Tadiera gives a shake of the head, but snuggles more into Cas, giving a light sigh.

Orpheus diverts his gaze a moment to smirk at Alexander, sure he has to be thanking /someone/ for that moment. A flare from the ground near the smiths draws his attention once more, tracing the path of the next fireworks that arc up into the sky.

Casiys peers at Tad "Why the sigh Tad? Believe me, you'll like it, it'll be worth it."

"I'm not really friendly. It's all an act, you know. I'm actually mean and nasty, I assure you." Torkenz puts on his best puppy-dog face, eyes widening with conviction. "But if you think I'm nice, well...." His grin widens. "You'll see."

Astrei stops staring at the place where the first one went off and instead surveys the crowd. She Sees Lilinia sitting a bit away and approches "Lili?" she whispers "can I sit near you?"

Rei (#7044)
Woven brands of firelit copper flicker across restive tail, spare splashes of ashen bronze underlying the uneasy highlights upon his rounded face. Dedicated ebon flares 'pon the tips of tin wings; ornate, those wings are, gilt with both bleached ivory and vivid flame: patience, clearly, vies with fanaticism. Rich plum shades protruding eyes from casual view; mask-like, the fiery copper hovers -- but does not enter - that darkened patch. Manic, both in coloration and action, beware: the fanaticism runs deeper than surface level. Rei is wearing a small band, one small stripe of white bordered two broader stripes of red, signifying that his Humanpet is of the Smithcraft.
Rei is 3 months and 15 days old.
Rei is awake and seems alert.

Nynaeve blushes and hides it by beginning her search for some herbs, avoiding looking Tenz straight in the eyes.

Tadiera mms, quietly, "Not a bad sigh, silly. I'm actually content."

These both go up in a brilliant display of sparkling yellow flame. Then about the time the first one explodes, the majestic firework blooms like a brilliant faire born flower whites, reds, and yellows going everywhere. The second? What happened to the second? Nothing.. a dud apparently

Lis nudges Orpheus with one shoulder, using the hand resting on Alexander's to indicate the curled up boy. "Isn't he just the cutest?" gets mouthed to the Starcrafter. She's helpless around adorable children. It comes from being a mother.

Torkenz is quick to use his aquired, odd sense of charm, but is now too distracted by the bangs and flashes of color in the sky. "This may add to my headache," he once more cheerfully drawls, "but it's nice... Lot less people here than /there/." He gives a disgruntled little stare back towards the courtyards. "Crowds are just... unnerving."

Gwyned stretches out to Zoomba for a scratch as Minnie bats at the firelizard's tail.

July steps away for a moment to write herself a note.

Zoomba scratches Gwyned with a doting look on his face.

July returns from writing herself a note.

Casiys mms quietly "Good, I'm glad."

Darman jumps up and realizes it is near grand finale time as he only has two left to light. He quickly goes about to light his last set before the Grand Finale.

Zoomba says, "Who's a cute widdle fiwe Wizard Den ???""

Lilinia grins at Astrei and nods, scooting over a little to give Trei more space, "Yeah sure..." She looks back up at the sky and the yellow firework, watching the sparks trickle down like raindrops. "Aren't they pretty?" Well, kinda obvious, but...

Kristiana grins as Gwyned soaks up the attention.

The first rocket shoots straight up into the air, but just when the next explosion is expected, a light /pop/ is all there is. As if trying to make up for its partner's misfortune however, the second rocket explodes with a huge BOOM! and erupts into a ball of blue, then red and white, then purple, the lights reflecting a dazzling display across the lake.

Nynaeve nods her head, smiling up at him, "Ah, I think I've found something.. it's not the best tasting .. but - it should help." She hands Tenz several tiny leaves of some herb. "I've found that if you chew on them, then suck out the juice - not eating the leaf, it helps the pain." She smiles.

Alexander glances up at the sky from his position being Lis-curled. "Oooh," he murmurs, voice muffled, "Pretty colors.."

Astrei grows wide eyed once more, though the sound they make does make her jump a little. She can;t help it if she has the mentality of a five-turn-old when it comes to bright, sparkly things She sits down without looking away from the now empty sky or wiping the awe from her face.

"Adorable," Orpheus agrees with a slight curve to his lips. Definitely not your typical paternal type, the sight even causes him to smile softly--at least until another noise from overhead steals his attention once more.

Tadiera jumps, faintly, at the next explosion, twitching more into Cas.

Shava shakes her head at the duds, but doesn't for long, watching the other fireworks go off and are amazed at the display.

Casiys mms quietly "Your perfectly safe Tad, don't worry."

That last boom causes Lis to duck closer to Orpheus - he gets nominated into the position of male protector while little Alexander is tugged closer. It's the surrogate maternal instinct. "Oh, wow. Wasn't that just beautiful?"

Lilinia watches the fireworks with the same amount of awe that Astrei does... only rarely does she get to watch fireworks. "The indigo-violet ones are my favorite..." She nods to Astrei and herself. Random commentary. Good stuff.

Torkenz eyes the leaves, tentatively taking them. "What... happens if I accidentally swallow the leaves?" He'll die, right? Just his luck. But he braves it anyway, popping them into his mouth with a curious look on his face. "Interesting. Not that bad, actually...."

"Breathtaking," Orph breathes softly, unable to pull his eyes away from the sky, even to acknowledge Alexander's snarl. It earns a slight smirk, but no spoken reply as he watches the embers die off.

Alanna rushes in, breathlessly hoping she's not too late...drat!

Tadiera ponders a moment, but falls silent, just watching.

Nynaeve grins at Torkenz, "The after-taste will get you. Um, and if you swallow them, well - you'll get a really bad stomach ache, but that's about it." She smiles up at him, then looks out at the sky once more. It's just simply amazing.

Casiys mms quietly and just snuggles Tad as he watches too, falling silent.

Darman says, "And now ladies and gentlemen, like all good things, we bid thee adieu with one last simultaneous work of firework beauty. It is time for the Grand Finale which is dedicated to Holder Natch and the people who put this Gather together.""

A little giggle comes from Lis as she's snarled protectively over. "Now, now... I wouldn't go around claiming greenriders if I were you..." Especially when you're not that far along in Turns. "Ooh, grand finale!" This sets the greenrider to wiggling in anticipation. It's sad.

Nynaeve sighs, "This is the end."

"Oh. Great." Torkenz just shakes his head, hand flying to his forehead in a dramatic moan that's not quite fake. "I'm gonna end up with something bad, aren't I?" Eek. He gives another curious look, licking his lips. "Still not bad." Hmm. Leaning back farther, he just keeps staring up at the sky, pondering something. "A pity..." It was a spectacular show, too.

Darman nods to Gideon "Thank you all for coming. And now, here it is!" He walks over to his set of fireworks bundled together, the bundle bigger than all others previous in the show.

Darman lights his bundle at the same moment Gideon lights his and runs back to watch.

Astrei leans on her hands and stares upward "This should be good" she whispers to Lili"

Gideon runs low and quick along the line of last awaiting fireworks, lighting the ends of each rocket before moving to the next. One after another, the rockets go shooting into the air, well over and above the lake.

In unison, the fireworks explode, intertwining with one another as the dark night sky is suddenly painted with a radiant display of golds, bronzes, browns, blues and greens, as if a thousand glowing dragons suddenly shot across the sky, mingled with a large heavenly cloud of flashes, white, violet, and red.

Alanna runs over, "Jace you made it," she tugs him over to sit beside her, gazing raptly up at the sky.

Alexander snugs Lis even tighter in suspense...... ooh, a toast for the Garish!

Nynaeve shakes her head at Tenz, "Nah, you won't.. oh!" She cuts herself off staring up at the sky. "It's beautiful." She whispers.

Orpheus leans in a bit towards the other other two as Darman and Gideon set the flame to the last fireworks, anticipating quite a show--and quite a noise. The show, he gets--the noise, he endures; all in all, he ends up staring at the sky wordlessly. Nice.

Zoomba says to Kristiana "Sorry about that, got carried away by the excitement"

Kristiana laughs. She can't think of anything else to say.

Lilinia nods in agreement to Astrei, "Ooooh... I like the blue and violet ones..." She sighs happily. Like painted dragons... or that's her best description for them. "I wish they wouldn't end..."

Shava smiles watching the last of the firewords go off, "It's wonderful," she utters and just takes it all in, waiting until her eyes adjust back to the darkness and the last of the fireworks die down.

Jacen grins brightly as he gets himself tugged over to settle down near his lady quietly "Yea, I made it...seems to me just in time too." he says, leaving his hand curled around Alanna's for the moment.

Lis' jaw drops as she notices the colors - /dragon/ colors. "Oh, Faranth..." is the breathed whisper that comes from her lips, one arm curled permanently around Alexander as she's slowly mesmerized by the flashing colors.

"I've managed worse, I always could," Torkenz replies, tawny eyes still stuck on watching the sky, breath catching in his throat. "It's... amazing." He can't quite put it to words, but his fingers begin to tap a nonsensical beat, to the fireworks' flare. "Never seen anything like it," he murmurs quietly.

Astrei flinches from the sound but remembers not to close her eyes "wow." she murmurs. She nods at Lilinia's comment "I like all the colors." She murmurs further

It seems as the whole lakefront is booming by all the fireworks going off from the bundles. Fireworks going up and off everywhere. Some exploding loudly in white light. A few in brilliant colors and whistles. Two are of particular interest of Darman's bundle. First this one raises higher in the sky than its creators had surely expected where it explodes into a sky covering blossom of red which turns to magenta and then purple to indigo before making small popping noises and glittering down before burning out. The other one corkscrews into the sky with a golden plume behind it. Suddenly it explodes into gold, red, white and blues,

Nynaeve leaps up in surprise and ends up even closer to Tenz than before, but this time she is just to entranced to even bother moving.

Casiys mms quietly and kisses Tadiera's ear "Beautiful wasn't it?"

Kristiana stands, turning to Zoomba. "I should be heading back to the Hall. Would you care to walk with me?"

Alanna grins, leaning back against Jace, "That was just amazing," she breaths into his ear, "Simply gorgeous.

Lilinia oohs at the color-changing firework, noting to herself that it's her special favorite. "Wow... that's... yeah." Amazing would be a good word, but she just nods, watching the little dead sparks fall down. Sigh. "I wish it would keep going... Oh well." Dusting her hands off, she stands up, "Wanna do something else Trei?"

Zoomba nods eagerly, looking deeply into Kristiana's eyes "sure..." he says faintly.

Zoomba picks up Waldo.

Darman goes forward, taking off his gloves and goggles. "Thank you very much for coming. I am Journeyman Darman, and this is my associate, Gideon. Enjoy the gather." He bows to the crowd.

The hand around the little Garish slides away as Lis suddenly requires the use of both hands, blithely applauding away for the spectacular show. They can't just leave her being the only one clapping, can they?

Torkenz's shifting gaze barely notes Nyn's movement, though the twitching grin on his face deepens just a tad, before he's once more caught in the glowing fare. But it's the end, and he gives a quick applause, not hesitating to let out an appreciative shout. "Lovely show!"

Realizing how close she has become to Torkenz, Nyn blushes deeply. "Well, it was very nice to meet you Tenz. I hope that you will feel better." She smiles as she stands up.

Gideon is caught looking skyward, his mouth open slightly in awe. He slowly looks out over the crowd as if he'd forgotten they were even there. He slowly removes his goggles, his face rimmed rather ridiculously by red circles. He bows rather foolishly, then waves a hand, as if giving the credit to Darman, his beaming face showing all that it is heartfelt.

Nynaeve cheers happily as she gathers up her things.

"See you, m'lady." As much as Torkenz can while sitting, he inclines his head and gives a slight bow, looking rather odd with his position. But still. "Hopefully I will," he ruefully states, offering only a shrug and a quirked grin.

Darman grins and heads over into the crowd to shake hands with everyone.

Jacen chuckles and cuddles Alanna closer as he nods "Twas just lovley, but not so lovely as you." he murmurrs into her ear as he glances at the smiths in silence, a smile just kissing his lips gently.

Leaning forward, Orpheus pulls his hands from the ground to echo Lis with hearty applause. "What a /show/," he exclaims, dark eyes reflecting the last of the dying embers. "I mean--" He breaks off with a shake of his head, unable to summon the words. So he doesn't try, and instead applauds.

Gideon blushes, his face tinted red in the dim light given off by the small fire, which after quickly trotting over to the wagon, grabbing a large bucket and filling it with lake water, he begins dousing the fire.

Nynaeve looks back at Torkenz, "I do hope that we will. Take care." She waves and smiles. "I'll be in the Ista Infirmary - if you ever need me." She grins.

Alexander applauds foolishly just for the heck of it, although the ringing of applause is beginning to make his ears hurt. Deciding not to abuse his ears any further, he hops to his feet and looks at the sky for a moment, as if searching for some color left. "Heard and witnessed," he says softly, eyes still fixed upwards.

Alanna adds her own clapping noise in, after a second to savor sweet words and sweeter kiss, "Mmm," she sighs contentedly and then, "WHOOoohooOO!"

"I should, I should, someday. If not, I'll just find something to do. Hit my head on a tree or something." Torkenz doesn't seemed concerned, shrugging once more. "Though you'll see me for the concussion, then."

Astrei stands up and yawns "What else is there to do here? I have forgoten..."

Nynaeve sighs and smiles at Tenz, "Just don't do anything rash. Good-bye!"

Gideon slowly removes his gloves as he returns to the wagon and leaves folded apron, gloves and goggles there before returning to the now well littered ground where the rockets had been launched, and begins hauling the debris and shrapnel into a pile.

Tadiera slips to her feet, pulling Cas after, "Yeah, it was... Now, what gift were you talking about?"

Casiys laughs quietly and pokes Tad's side "You'll find out when it's done silly. I had to commission it. You wanna head home?"

Jacen grins and then removes his hand from Alanna's before clapping, if only briefly, before his hand goes back to his lady's hand.

Tadiera rolls her eyes, "Now you've got me curious."

Darman goes back to the wagon and sheds his gloves, goggles, and apron. Then proceeds to start cleaning up.

Casiys laughs "Yes, I know." he teases, heading off towards the feeling, sending one of his lizards off to get their ride.

Niamhyth gives a croon in the smith's direction before looking back at her rider; what now?

Gideon grins over at Darman. "Not bad, if I may say so. Thank you for letting me join in."

Tadiera walks, a far-off look on her face to the Hold Field.

Finally, Lis' hands start hurting, and her applause stops so she can lean back on them. "Never seen anything like it..." She finally decides on stating, continuing to peer up at the sky.

Lilinia shrugs, looking at the sky, and then the people around her, "Uhhmm... nothing? Wanna get a cup of klah or something?" Lili shrugs, "The 'works were fabulous though. Never seen anything better..." So maybe she hasn't seen a lot, but still!

"Rash? I'm just curing a headache." Giving a slight grumble, Torkenz folds his arms over his chest and glances at the retreat of Nynaeve. Let alone to his own ramblings again. Oh dear. "Better than that time I tried to stick my head to a wall to cure it..."

Lyri suddenly slips behind her dragon, Lis is here. Ushering her friends to another location, she tries to slink her way out. Too bad Nia is in a rather loud mood and gives another loud warble as they begin to move.

"No offense," Orpheus begins--he's learned his lesson today, after offending the masses--with a slight smile. "But I really can't even see a flight of dragons topping that. Matching it, yes--but topping that?" With a slight shrug of his shoulders, he stands, dusting off the back of his pants. With a smirk, he reaches down, extending both his hands--one for Lis, and yes, one for Alexander.

Darman nods. "I thought it turned out very well. You ok from that close one?"

Ah, but it's only Lis. Her head turns at the dragon's warble, but she doesn't quite recognize the green. "Aw, with dragons, it's different. I mean, they're living breathing creatures. Fireworks are one thing, but dragons..." The greenrider trails off, taking the extended hand and using it to lever herself up. Poor Orpheus.

Gideon laughs softly and nods, then begins dumping the gathered litter into one of the leftover crates. "Aye, just fine. Next time I'll know better," he comments, then hefts the crate to his shoulders and carries it back toward the wagon. Brushing himself off, he approaches the dwindling crowd, waving at Lis and her two companions.

Astrei shrugs "I'd like to just go sit in the vault in my corner of couch...or don't you go to the vault anymore? I forget you are higher up in rank than me..."

Lyri is missed, much to her relief, and makes her way toward the courtyard.

Alanna mms happily and at the stinging in her hands stop clapping and intertwines her fingers with Jace's, "Glad you made it," she says dreamily...other people..what other people

Jacen grins as he wraps his free arm around his beloved and then tilts his head to the side a moment, "I'm glad I made it too." he mutters, leaning his head towards Alanna's now...Rowr?

Lyri walks to the Hold Field.

Lis wobbles a bit when she first gets to her feet, but when gravity is sufficiently mastered, the greenrider starts to take off in Gideon's direction. A running hug threatens, should the smith fail to fend of the 'Reacher. "Oh, Gideon, that was marvelous!"

Alexander walks in from the Hold Field.

Lilinia wrinkles her nose, "Oh woo. I'm higher in rank." She shrugs, "You kidding me? I live in the vault and gossip. That's my life... and I teach classes, but that's not the point." Lili nods, giving another shrug, "I am productive! Really!"

Astrei grins "Yeah, productive like me? the 5 year junior appy?"

Smelling only slightly of sulfur, Gideon gladly spreads his arms, more than grateful for a hug or two. He laughs softly. "Thank you, Lis. I really appreciate it. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as well," he adds with a soft smile.

Orpheus is only good to assist one off the ground, apparently. Pulled on then abandoned, he turns around with a faintly bemused expression on his face; apparently, he's still a bit out of it between the loud noises and the bright flashes.

Astrei grins ear to ear. "C'mon, I want to see if I remember my way back..." Astrei stumbles clumsily to the Hold Field.

Lilinia walks to the Hold Field.

Darman finishes cleaning up and nods to Gideon. "You are free to go enjoy"

Oblivious to the fact she's just abandoned her previous companions, Lis gives Gideon those expected hugs, sulfur smell or otherwise. Realizing dawns, and she starts leading him towards Orpheus and Alexander. "Oh, I should think they did..."

Alexander quietly plays on his instrument. A peaceful, blissful feeling surrounds you, for it is perfectly in tune!

Lainnoth waltzes loftily, regal grace coming easily to each step, in from the Hold Field.

Alexander looks around, watching the wind play with the trees. "Anyone here know a good tune?"

Fye strides, a light bounce in her step, in from the Hold Field.

Gideon laughs again, adrenaline finally leaving his body. More than willing to be led around now, he stumbles after Lis.

Darman leans against the wagon exhausted

Khia scurries in from the Hold Field.

Torkenz's curiosity has been caught, and the young man gets up and stands on those flipper-like feet of his, now staring curiously at Alexander. His curiosity has been caught. "You play?" He tentatively questions, taking a few steps closer, definitely interested.

Orpheus' eyes light up as Gideon approaches, and he extends a hand with a chuckle as they near. "Ah, so you are one of the masterminds, eh? Wonderful show--I can't think of any other way to describe it." And Orph is usually eloquent, when both braincells are functioning.

Alexander shakes his head, flopping wet strands of hair around. Shards, *still* wet. "Nope. That's why I'm asking if anyone else here does? unless they can teach me.."

And leading is what Lis' to best - or at least, this one. Hands fold behind her back as Orpheus and Gideon strike up conversation, the greenrider waiting perkily to add her two bits to the conversation.

"Do you like the lake, Lai?" queries Khia in the most friendly manner, almost unable to stop beaming about herself whilst eyes wander over everybody in viewing range to see if anybody is recognizable. "See? It sparkles," she points towards the sparkling lake brushed with the watery moonlight of Timor and Belior. Sparkly.

Gideon blushes slightly again. He's got to teach himself to quit doing that. "Thank you," he murmurs, "Though Darman really deserves most of the credit. I was just following his example." He smiles then at Lis. "Just watching everyone else enjoy the show however is by far the best part of this. When everyone started clapping..." to which he just shrugs, face tinted an even darker shade of red.

Asroj walks in from the Hold Field.

Ah, someone who blushes even more than Orph himself does! With a mental note to stay near /this/ one, Orpheus turns a bright smile on the other man. "Either way, it was fantastic. Pass along my congratulations, would you? I just have to ask tho--/how/?" How indeed.

"Oooooooooh." Fye most likely speaks for both herself and Lainnoth the two of them creep closer to the lake; they've both simply locked their eyes on it. So it /does/ sparkle. Lainnoth cautiously slinks closer, planting himself away from the people where he see. They might be squished, otherwise. "That's so pretty, Khia," Fye remarks, beaming as her blue watches the reflected moons with rapt fascination. It's like his weyr.

Gideon laughs softly, definitely much more at ease finally. "Got me, I'm just an apprentice," he replies with a silly grin. "They taught me how to light the things. The rest comes later... I hope," he adds with a wink.

Alanna blushes slightly, prring softly in his ear, "lets go somewhere quiet," wagglewaggle

Asroj walks to the Hold Field.

Gideon tries to peer through the quickly lessening crowd. "Alanna!" he suddenly calls out with a grin. "Did you get to see them?" he adds, waving, casting an apologetic look towards Orpheus.

Jacen nodnods and stands, offering Alanna a hand to help her up "Yes, lets." he says, eyebrow arching playfully as Jace grins slightly impishly at 'Lanna.

"Them?" Orpheus repeats, less than clever at the moment before he figures out that Gideon isn't speaking to him. Abandoned once more--well, Orph will survive. With a tip of his head and a slight smile in return for the apologetic look, Orpheus slips away without another word.

Orpheus pads softly to the Gar Gardens.

Alanna grins, rising to her feet and upon hearing her voice turns around, hand still 'twined with Jace's, "Gideon?" she questions, clapping a bit of miniapplause, "Hey, that was gorgeous!"

Gideon quickly nears, nodding with a warm smile towards Jacen before glancing back at Alanna. "Ye really think so?" he asks, smile at that moment from ear to ear.

Khia is rather pleased with the view of the glistening water as well, herself clapping both hands together 'fore clasping them, gaze traveling over to the lake. Sparkle-sparkle, glitter-glitter. "I know. It was so lucky of you to find a good weyr above the lake at 'reaches too," the girl casts a glance over her shoulder ever so briefly, "It is /perfect/ for Lai." It does seem perfect though.

Darman grins at all the attention Gideon is getting. He goes to securing the wagon for the trip back to Ista.

Jacen grins at Lanna as he turns toward the sound of Alanna's name "Who's that?" he asks her quietly, fingers twitch as he nods to the smith, almost tempted to head towards Gideon, but waiting for Lanna to make the first move...

Alanna nods, journeying over to Gid, "Yeah, it was simply breathtaking," nod, "Wish I could have been there for more of it," she shrugs, "But what I saw was gorgeous," pause, "Ooh yeah, Jace, Gid, Gid, Jace," with the appropriate hand gestures accompanying the words... there lets all be friends

Gideon turns his head slightly as he sees Darman getting ready to head out. He quickly turns back to Alanna and Jacen. "Gideon, Smith Apprentice," he offers to Jacen, holding out his hand. "Alanna and I were both messengers... back in our younger years," he adds with a wink. He glances again over at Darman. "Thank you Alanna, that means a lot," he says to the young woman, smiling. Then, waving with a smile, he begins heading toward the wagon, calling out over his shoulder, "I hope to see you tomorrow at the Gather!" then quickly returns to help Darman.

Darman smiles at Gideon. "No need to help me out. You have some friends over there. Go, enjoy."

"Oh, yeah, definitely," agrees Fye, abandoning her spot beside the Nanny, slowly skipstepping her way over to Lainnoth to watch the glittering lake with him. "Yup, he gets to see it from his ledge all the time." The blue inclines his silver-washed neck towards Khia, emitting a soft croon. Aww. He wants her to join him. Or something cute like that.

Jacen chuckles at Alanna as he follows her like a lost puppy dog"Pleased to meet you Gid," he says as Lanna introduces him to the smith "It was a nice display, what I saw of it." the guard says, brandy eyes sparkling as crooked half smile also compliments. He waves as the smith heads towards the other as Jace peers at Lanna, "Now where too?" he asks her.

Alymath (#2900)
The materialistic sparkle of vibrant emerald adorns the finely tapered muzzle to the point of saturation, before pouring in diluted jade against the understated arch and subtle crescendo of her neck. Like moonlight filtered through viridian, spaded leaves, silver's tapped touch airbrushes the arpeggio of sharp 'ridges, an ethereal breath across otherwise earthly, moss-touched spine. A roseate blush spreads faintly across lanky torso, a would-be gaudy pink acting as filler in places where jade fails to perform. Haze's vaporous movements end in scintillating mica rays which variate wildly over open-angled, sleek haunches. A coda of green, frosted with champagne's golden rush, twirls into a loopy tail and ends with a flash fanfare of verdant sage.
Ripe melon red are Alymath's straps, fuscia dominating with a vengance over magentas and berries. Thousands of tiny stitches, each one blooming a trace of rose, march around the leathers that encircle Alymath's last ridges with sturdy industry embodied by their seamstress.
Alymath is 3 Turns, 6 months, and 2 days old.
She is 48 feet (14m) long, with a wingspan of 80 feet (24m).
Alymath appears to be dozing.

You go to the Gar Hold CourtYard.
