Is this game heaven or what!? It has it all from beautiful graphics to good story line. It has a cast of 8 characters who embarks on a epic journey to save the world from the mist that covers it, but they'll soon know who's really behind it. The battle system is just pretty much the same as other Final Fantasy battling system with some adjustments, such as shorter eidolon(GF/SUMMON) appearance so now you dont have to watch the whole thing. I dont mind it being short but at times i wish it was it's normal length. Okay on with magic, Just like in Final Fantasy VI, you will have to learn the abilities/magic from weapons, armor, ect. and you get to keep the abilities or magic forever once you learn them by gaining Ability Points in battle. The music is great as always, theres even a song in there call "Melodies of Life" by Emiko Shiratori which I loved. The card game from Final Fantasy VIII returns and this time i thought was easier, i actually enjoy playing it. Theres time in the game where you will have to play it in the tournament, win or loose it's all good. Theres a few mini games in the game but the one thats you know that will always be there is the chocobo game and this time your gona have to find treasures all around the world. The more treasures you find the better abilities you chocobo will learn (fly, walk in water, walk on mountain). If i were you i wouldn't even bother renting it, JUST BUY IT!!
