Details of the story of this film are as yet unknown, but I do know that it takes place on a future Earth in the year 2065, and that it is reported to not feature characters or storylines seen in any of the games. The only plot detail revealed thus far is that it involves a fight against alien invaders set upon controlling Earth. The Release Date is July 13th, 2001 Just a note that the Director is Hironobu Sakaguchi (producer of the games Final Fantasy I-VIII). And finally the voice cast (Alphabetically): Ming-na Wen (Mulan), Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Peri Gilpin, Ving Rhames, Donald Sutherland, James Woods! |
As The Bouncer begins, a girl named Dominique is kidnapped by Mikado Special Forces for reasons unknown, and it’s up to the three Fate Bar Bouncers: Sion, Volt, and Kou, to track her down. The Bouncer has three play modes: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Survival Mode. In the one player Story Mode, you take control of one of the three bouncers and engage in a cross between an RPG and an old beat-em-up from the days of yore - think Double Dragon or Streets of Rage, only with experience points… and much better graphics. Score a kill, and you’ll earn Bouncer Points, which you can then use in between stages to pump up your character’s stats or pick up a new special fighting technique. |
Final Fantsay X is coming out Spring 2001(japan) for the Playstation 2! Little is known about it but I do know that it is not set in mystical times like Final Fantasy I-VI and IX. It will take place in a more reality world like Final Fantasy VII and VIII.
