I know I probably will receive a lot of hate mail by saying this, but I seriously think Dragonball is overrated. Excuse me, did I really say that, sorry but I had to let that one out. Do not get me wrong, my thoughts on this series are not completely negative, for I really think the characters are great. Especially later on closer to Dragonball GT. The History Of Trunks had the impression on me that it would tell the story of Trunks, uh...yea, right. The story takes place in the future, Gohan is older, before Pan was born. Trunks and Gohan are the only survivors from the Z fighters, and this was all because of those pesky androids. Any DBZ fan who has seen the Trunks saga, should already know by now why Trunks had to do the good 'ol time traveling to deliver the antidote to Goku. Well the majoridy of the sixty minutes of play time is spent on the androids continously bashing on Trunks. I personally think the whole show has WAY TOO much action, hell if this show teaches anyone anything, its to exercise daily, with all the damn workouts and training. The animation and picture quality have little improvement over what can be seen on Cartoon Network. I expect a lot from DVDs and this does not show what they can do. I guess this might be everything that has the kiddies and everyone else so estatic eh, well its not for me. I personally would check out Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, or Samurai X any day over this garbage.Hell even Cardcaptor Sakura looks good right now. Rating=6.0
Pros=Its uh...DBZ, Gohan as a adult.
Cons=Bad animation, the acting, senseless action as always, and not enough bang for the buck.
