11-28-08 2:15am It has been a long time

Well I was finally able to come to this site again and update it. The league season three was done and we ended up with a new champion. Urawa Reds(JAP) defeated Gamba Osaka(JAP) in the final 1-0. Season four is schedule to start December 10th so I'll try to keep you guys posted. In other news, you'll be able to find a more up to date site dedicated to one of my biggest hobbies which is collecting classic video games. You can check it out at http://famicomfreak.blogspot.com/ Well that's about it for now. Thank you for visiting.

4-30-08 12:09pm Moving On

Alright so the reason of no updates is really because I'm out of hard drive space in this site so I'm going to be moving on to a new server. A .com server to be precise. The champ of last season was Deportivo Cali(COL) to surprise all other clubs. The champ of the WCC was Gamba Osaka(Jap) who finally won a title. Check out my latest finds section for a huge arsenal of finds! That's all for now!

3-31-08 1:41pm Division Playoffs to Start Soon

Well I have been updating the results and many other stuff but I am running out of bandwidth. I have finally found a place where I'll be hosting this site for at least the next two years. I also found a .com domain for cheap and of my choice so this place will become a greater site. With more space to upload files I will be able to have even more sections for everyone to enjoy. Keep visiting and the new site link will be posted here soon!

3-17-08 9:06am Continental Cup Starts Today!

The tournament was decided to start today so there will be a section devoted to it. The upcoming matches will be posted later today since the matches are going to take place tonight.

3-16-08 7:34am Copa America and World Cup of Clubs Groups!

The lottery of these two tournaments took place last night and here are the results. Overall, the first group of the World Cup of Clubs was of the most interest as it will put three of the top teams in the league facing each other plus one obscure team that made it silently to the cup. Gamba Osaka, Miami Fusion, Birmingham City, and FC Tokyo will share this group with only two spots to advance to the next round. The other clubs of this first edition of th World Cup of Clubs are also interesting. This cup will take place sometime after the championship series so the date has not been decided yet.

Copa America will be hosted by the Argentinian team that will try to start this year in the positive note after failing to advance to the last sixteen in last years world cup in Germany. New invited teams Greece and Russia will have a tough time in the tough groups they have fallen into. Argentina will share the group with Ecuador, Paraguay, and Mexico. This will be a great chance for Argentina to bounce back from a horrific tournament.

The friendly matches of last night have also been posted. There were some interesting scores like Peru's 8-0 victory over Chile. It was a surprising result since Chile was showing some good improvement but choked in this match. Argentina defeated Norway 3-1 with a great performance from their rising stars. It was a great match to prepare them for the Continental Cup and Copa America. Russia defeated Latvia 3-1 and has shown dramatic improvement. Latvia on the other hand couldn't count on Vera's help for this match. Japan also defeated Serbia 5-1 and are still showing their World Cup strength. Overall, these were all entertaining matches that are in the end helping all teams prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers for England 08.

3-14-08 7:34am International News

In some news about the International teams, Japan will not be playing Copa America 08 for they weren't invited. The Japanese team doesn't think much of it since they will take on their own tournament called Nippon Cup 08 which will feature sixteen teams in four groups. This will be the first edition of this cup and should be one to keep an eye on. The Nippon team is also going to call up new rising players from the different clubs of the LGL league. One of the main reasons of the LGL league is to have a more competitive atmosphere between players of all nationalities so that they can be called up to play in the international teams. From all international teams, England has been the most influenced. Their squad has grown into a squad of great players that this year will be hosting the World Cup.

In other international news, Mexicans are finally hyped about their team which has shown some great improvement over the past two years. This team just keeps changing for the better. The help from the LGL clubs Guadalajara and America have helped them develop into a competing team. The Mexican team showed this yesterday as they defeated the second best team in the Americas, the USA.

The USA on the other hand will try to bounce back from yesterday's loss as they take on powerhouse England on the 22nd of this month. Donovan and Adu will be the duo to watch to see if they can really click as a goalscoring duo. Other matches of the USA are of 23rd of March against Mexico, 27th of March against Nigeria, 29th of March at South Africa, 30th of March against Italy, 31st of March against Paraguay, and April 1st against the Czech Republic.

Copa America will be held in Argentina this year. sixteen teams will take on this tournament including all of the teams from the Americas confederation. Below are the groups:
Group A- Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Mexico
Group B- Chile, Russia, Peru, Korea
Group C- Brazil, China, Uruguay, Jamaica
Group D- Colombia, USA, Greece, Costa Rica

The new competitors in this tournament are Greece and Russia which will be looking for some international experience for the European qualifiers.

The Euro Cup 08 will be played with all thirty-two teams. All the rounds will be played with an away-home leg format. The teams will face against each other in a lottery format to make things fair for every team. Euro Cup 08 will be hosted by the Ukraine and will start on April 2nd.

Tournament Dates:
Copa America 08 3-16-08
Nippon Cup 08 4-15-08
Euro Cup 08 4-2-08
African Cup 08 5-1-08
Continental Cup 08 3-20-08(Date could change)

3-14-08 7:27am Friendly Results

Finally, the pre-world cup qualifiers matches started. There will be international action throughout this month all the way until the first qualifier match. The most notable match was the one by Mexico since there was a lot of speculation that they are going to have a winning season this year and showed it by winning a big match against the second best team in the Americas, the USA. More matches are shown below:

3-10-08 10:00am Upcoming Friendlies

The schedule of the upcoming international friendlies will be added later today since I forgot my laptop containing the schedule. These friendlies will take place from 3-13-08 until 3-30-08 just in time for the world cup qualifiers for England 2008. That's all for now....

3-10-08 1:43am Late Night Updates and Studying

Yeah I'm cramming for a test that's going to be in five hours for now so while I'm taking my break I decided to update this site quite a bit. Rounds 23-32 will be starting back this upcoming Wednesday and the playoffs by the end of the month. In other news, I have added new Misty photos at the Misty pic section and I'm still working on the Heart of Riva Lite section. After tomorrow, I won't have tests for a while but I will be keeping myself busy to be able to stay in good shape in school. Thank god only two months left....

3-5-08 11:20pm Another Update

The league will be on a break for this week and then back next Monday due to the "break" of the season. This will also give time for teams to regroup and work on their weaknesses. In other news, the Heart of Riva Lite section is running quite well and will be soon by next week except for the problems with pictures of the game. For some reason DOSBOX won't let me capture screen shots. The pick of the week has been updated to so check out the title and see if it's of your liking. That's about it for now.

2-29-08 9:38pm Update

There will be some new stuff being added this weekend as well as updates to the league and my collection. I'm also going to be learning flash so I can make the site a lot more exciting to look at and when that time comes, I'll have a .com site to better things up. That's about it for now.

2-28-08 3:46pm My Famicom Collection Video II

Here is something I think all of you will enjoy watching. It's my Famicom Collection Volume II which was released last month but since I haven't been updating this site for a while I wasn't able to post it here. Anyways, enjoy!

7-29-07 3:43pm Game of The Week XI: Conquer Online

This is truly a game that you can play over and over and then quit and come back for more fun. Conquer Online for the PC is a game that is so addicting, that you'll have to tell someone to turn the computer off for you because you are going to be so hooked on it. I do advice that you play responsibly because games like these will be very dangerous if you get too much into them. My site was affected thanks to this game but I have learned to control it and now I'm back better than ever. The difficulty is not that much since all you need to do is hit a target and level up, then get better equipment and level up, and so on. The only problem with this game are the longevity of it. You can play this game for a whole year and still you wouldn't be done with it so I really highly advice about playing this game if you are one of those people who gets addicted real quick. Other than that, this is a must for any fan of a massive multiplayer online RPG.

Conquer Online

7-28-07 11:33pm Peruvian Independence Day & Girlfriend Birthday!

Wow what are the odds of this going on...yeah the independence day of my homeland and my girlfriend's birthday landed in the same day hooray!! Well time to wear white and red and enjoy a night out with my girl because she deserves it. Wow she is 20 nowwwww we are all getting old!

7-24-07 10:43pm Happy Birthday Rats

Alright so today is 11 months since the kittens were born. Wow it's been so long well I wish all of them even the one that god took from to be happy and know that we will always love them.

7-23-07 10:43pm Soccer League Updates

Alright so the Divisions of the Luis Games Soccer League are pretty much finishing up even though you haven't seen many of the results which I will work on as soon as I'm done with college finals! Well as far as I'm aware Divisions A,B, and D are done with season play and are awaiting Division C to start the playoffs. Things are going to get a lot more interesting from now on.

7-23-07 10:40pm MLB Section Out of Business

Sorry for these news but the baseball tournament has been taken out due to lack of interest by people and myself. Well I hope things can get better in the future.

7-22-07 3:30am Game of the Week X:Final Fantasy III(NES)

Truly one of the great games of all the Famicom/NES era. This is what defined the RPG series of Final Fantasy for the 8bit era. I think this is one of the greatest Famicom/NES Games of the 8bit times because of the greatness of the RPG engine as well as the story line and the gameplay. Thi is just a very in depth game filled with challenges. Playing this title back in 1998 using the nesticle emulator (latest and fastest emulator back then) gave me a look at what we missed in the States. More importantly we could have worship we could have done to this title. Alright so this game has everything but what is it missing? a remake!!...well we got it with Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS. This is the remake I was waiting since Final Fantasy Anthology and I finally got it in my hands. I believe this is the best final fantasy for the NES/Famicom series but also for the NDS as well! SO GET IT NOW!!!

7-20-07 3:15am Sorry for the lack of updates

Well it's been a while since I updated but I am on finals in my classes and can't be much of an updater at the moment. I will surely be back although I'm busy with updates to this wonderful homepage. Thanks again and keep checking out my world!

7-15-07 11:25pm Pick of Week IX: Punch Out

So time to keep up with the updates. As you know NES is one of my favorite consoles ever and will never be #2 on my book so time to go back to the basics as some say. This time around we have Punch Out this time around. This game is massively challenging and any veteran gamer will remember the nights of pain he/she spent trying to defeat all of these crazy boxers. This game was in an era where boxing was actually a sport to watch since during that time (late 80s) we would still get the unforgettable rocky movies.

The gameplay is very simple. You have the A and B buttons to punch with the left or right hand and the direction pad to duck or go from side to side. Then once you get one of the stars from punching one of the boxers, you can press start for a super punch. The more stars you have the more super punches you can give to your opponent. Well it's time for me to go so all I can stay is pick this classic up or get the rom somewhere. Either way just get it! but careful with mike tyson because he is one tough guy to beat. Also remember, that there is always a routine to every fighter so in time you will be able to defeat all of them with ease. Even Mike Tyson.

7-15-07 11:18pm Misty Section Update

Yes finally an update. 10 new misty pictures have been added.

7-13-07 12:05pm Too Much Gaming

Well I have been playing too many games and having too many tests so I have been lacking on the updates for this site but believe me I'm not dead not now, not ever! I do want to tell you that I'll have new cartridge scans added to my NES Collection and will open a section on the World Cup Germany 2007 Qualifying rounds in my virtual league. Also a lot of baseball updates coming up as well as the soccer divisions. Then comes my hacks which are still doing pretty good even though I haven't worked on them for a while. Well that's about it for now.

7-8-07 8:42pm Pokemon Pearl/Diamond

For the first time ever I have picked a game that is not for the NES/Famicom system. This is just a must for any Nintendo DS/RPG owner to have. Pokemon Pearl or Diamond are probably the best RPGs for the DS right now. They not only have the normal quest to collect all the badges but they also have the wifi capabilities to do what you want including battle, trading, and chat. There is just so much to do and so many monsters to collect to create your own dream team that this game doesn't seem to ever end. Also as a note there will be special events on weekends or special days that'll keep you coming for more. A true masterpiece in RPG gaming that'll keep you busy for months and months until your DS breaks or you misplace your Pokemon cartridge. Well stay tuned for next week as I will keep announcing more picks.

7-7-07 10:06pm Update

There aren't much to update this week except I've been working on my hacks for a bit and I will have some updates later tonight on the NES section and probably the pick of the week.

7-3-07 3:30pm Small Update

Well not much new to add to todays updates but only wanted to inform that Mario Adventure remake is 10% done and Mario Adventure V is 15% done. I will be making updates to the Soccer and Baseball Leagues later this week. Thanks again.

6-30-07 12:09am Commender Keen Dreams

So this is it, the final pick of DOS MONTH. I can't believe it's been 30 days since the first title I talked about and I couldn't ask for a better way to go back to the classics of the golden ages of gaming. These titles are the reason why we have such great games nowadays and these titles should be embraced into a hall of fame for games. Well now to another title that needs to be pointed out. Commander Keen Dreams is just a game that will be always between the greats of plat former titles. This game plays as great as its other counter parts and gives a little more taste to great gaming with incredible sound and graphics for its day. I really enjoyed this one and think what could have been if they were still making Commander Keen games...I sure hope they would have been better and better and hit some holes along the way only to get back up. This is one that you and everyone else must have tried along the way and even new age gamers should check this one out even if they think it's a horrible title and it looks ugly. This game is about game-play in any era. I sure hope you visitors showed some appreciation to all the titles I have mentioned and that it somehow made you turn heads into trying them. I will sure go back to them and play them again and again until the day I die. This is the end of DOS MONTH.

6-29-07 1:43pm Carmageddon

Well another day and another title. This one is really fun for gore like people. Carmageddon is just a flawless and addictive title. It's like playing GTA of the yesteryear and I'm sure anyone that has played GTA will enjoy this one. You are this racer that needs to win a race around town but the only way to win it is to race through a city and well the city is filled with people. Amazingly enough running over people will give you money that you can use later on. Well enough said about this title so go ahead and find it on the infinite world that is the internet.

6-28-07 11:22pm Week 6 Pick a Little Late

Here is a pick of last week late. Sorry for being a little late on this pick but I was busy with a lot of stuff. This is an incredibly challenging game for any NES fan. A game packed with breathtaking levels and amazingly challenging stages will keep you trying over and over until you beat this game and believe me it'll take a long time before you beat it and that's without using cheats. Alright, so the challenge is very high but that doesn't mean you have to struggle. When you die just pause the game and take a deep breath and try again or even better try playing with a friend. This is an unique title that I can't believe there was no sequels or a crappy ps2 title released. I mean Final Fight had one well it wasn't that crappy after all but you know what I mean.

Well to finish this up let me tell you that I will never forget that day I beat this game. I was playing night after night trying to beat that rat carrying the bomb to the bottom or when I was stuck in level 3 dodging all those walls until I found the warp and I was in another level. I recommend this to everyone that has been under a rock for the past 15-20 years!

6-28-07 5:47pm Kiloblaster

This is one of the shooters I enjoy the most. It's a really good one and really fun to just shoot things. We of course have tons and tons of shooter games that will entice us with their magic. I recommend this one because it's really like any other good shooter game. Please take a chance to try it out.

6-27-07 5:27pm News

I just wanted to let everyone know that the virtual leagues are not dead and will go at full speed this weekend back again. I wasn't able to update these leagues because I haven't been home in the past 2 weeks but tonight I will finally be back home and ready to work again. There is so much to do and the soccer league is missing around 9 rounds so we'll need to make those up. Also my hacks will be worked on again and many other updates will come including the reviews section and walkthroughs. More to come.

6-27-07 5:25pm Pokemon Pearl

Just wanted everyone to know about this title and how addictive it is. I can't believe this game at all. I though I was going to return it as soon as I got it but nah. Alright well if any of you are already online battling other freaks let me know what your number is since I'm planning on going online pretty soon myself.

6-27-07 12:52am Acid Tetris

Yes about time for this title to appear and I had to pick this one for being one of my favorites. This is a great title to play for any of the tetris addicted freaks out there. Enjoy this one and don't forget to search for dos games using google for more of these titles.

6-26-07 6:43pm Paganitzu

Well here is another classic and this time is a puzzle game. The great people of apogee has great again blessed us with a new masterpiece. I assure you to try this for all puzzle lovers!

6-25-07 11:36am Dark Forces

This game is truly incredible. The massive stages and wonderful game play make this a must have. This is star wars at its best. One of the games I would stay up for hours and hours in my geeky Saturday nights playing through and dying over and over. You must get this title by all means if you are a star wars fan. I feel like playing this one one so I have to go!

6-24-07 11:45pm Chasm: The Rift

Here it is another great first person shooter from the old ages. As dos month is coming to a close we have gotten to see titles that have enchanted us with their magic. I personally like any of the old time fps since they bring back so many memories and wonderful gameplay as well. Go ahead and look this one up.

6-23-07 1:04am Commander Keen VI

What else can I say about another Coammander Keen game than WOW. This game is really full of awesomeness and fun factor but the best of all is the use of the engine from part IV which was just superb. The game has it's most classic taste and comes with a lot more to offer like new monsters and more challenging levels to name a few. I'm sure any of you Apogee fans are already on to this title. Also please if you liked this game there is an edited Commander Keen game that uses this engine but gives you all new levels. Great for Keen fans that are looking for more to explore. Alright, well I said enough of this game so what's left is for you to go ahead to google.com or visit DOS Games which is en easy search. Thanks also to DOS Games for all the pictures for these fabulous classic games.

6-22-07 5:32pm Charlie the Duck

A great like Super Mario adventure side scrolling masterpiece. Very challenging but fun. The only weird thing about this game is that you play as a duck, but other than that this game packs quite a punch.

6-21-07 1:25pm Dark Ages

Another day and so another day. There is not much to say about this game but awesome. This is a title ready to play for any side scrolling fan of the old ages. Check it out

6-20-07 10:25pm Updates

Not much happening today just wanted to announce that the hacks are doing well and Mario Adventure V is around 10 percent done...yeah it's going slowly but it's getting there. Also I will have the league rounds VIII and IX by the end of the week hopefully that is. If not, I will have them late next week because I'm not really at home right now and I will be back home by next week so things are going to be a little slow until late next week.

6/19/07 Commander Keen 4

Today's game is none other than Commander Keen 4! This is a true classic and personally my favorite of all the Keens. It's one of the most innovative side scrolling games and a true classic to everyone from the DOS era.

Everything in this game is wonderful to see even the outdated VGA graphics and the sound is superb as well. I truly enjoyed this game the first time that I played it. This is truly the Super Mario of DOS.

WOOOHOOOOOO This site has gone through many metamorphosis in all this time and wasn't even online until late 2000 with a working site back in the geocities days. Well here goes to another year of success in my life. Keep visiting for more stuff.

6/18/07 Info on what's going on!

Alright so there have been a lack of update in other areas but those things are getting ready to come. Let me first start by saying that I'm working on my first NES game review and strategy so they should both be out in around the same time. Second of all, I will not be working on my NES hacks for a little bit since I'm no at my place right now and will not be for the next 10 days. Finally, I have officially made this site the home of two hacking groups I used to be part of, Dreamwave Games, and Elite Hacking Force. I want to make a home for these two groups because I want to continue hacking and be working with people that are also into NES rom hacking. If you are interested just e-mail me and we'll talk. Alright well I do have release dates for some of the games but if problems occur there will change:
*7-4-07 Mario Adventure I (remake)
*7-25-07 Mario Adventure V (Newest one of the series)
Well that's all for now!

6/18/07 Captain Comic

Here is the game of today. This game looks familiar like the Mario pixels somehow....hmmmm alright well lets see how it plays....it plays great. This game is really fun. If you haven't tried it then get to DOSBOX and find a copy of this game. I'm not sure if this is abandoneware but whatever. I'm pretty sure you can find the shareware pretty much anywhere. This is another nice side scrolling game and one of the classics that everyone whoever lived in the golden era knows about. If you think Mario is too easy then go ahead and try this one out, you might enjoy it after all. To end things, this game does have a sequel that I may mention before the end of DOSMONTH if I feel if deserves a spot on my TOP DOS GAMES LIST!. More to come!

6/17/07 Pickle Wars

Alright so this is another game to check out. It's a side scrolling game but it has a lot of weird things going on. Especially the fact that you have to fight pickles to save the world. I never heard that before. Well that's pretty much everything I need to say about this game. The challenge is moderate so please try it at your own risk, that is, if you suck at games.

6/17/07 15 Months and Going

Today is also the anniversary of me and my girlfriend. I can't believe 15 months with her already that's a pretty damn long time! Alright well I have a lot to do today so I'll catch ya later. More updates later!

6/17/07 Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to tell all the fathers out there to have a happy father's day and hope you guys get laid or something lol.

6/16/07 Misty Section Update

Misty Section has been updated. 20 new pictures have been added.

6/16/07 BLOOD!

Here is the DOS game of the day and it's a bloody one. This is another 3D shooter that was actually good compared to all the other clones that came out to imitate DOOM and Wolfenstein 3D. This game plays great and it's very entertaining. Well there is nothing more to say then to look for it on google and play it using DOSBOX. I hope you are enjoying my selections so far because there is still a lot to come.

6/15/07 Misty Section Update

Misty Section has been updated with more pictures of my favorite anime girl.

6/15/07 Soccer League Round VII

The MLB league is up to date and now it's time for the Soccer League. Round VII has been played and the results are posted on it so head to the Soccer League section. Previous rounds are going to be added later on.

6/15/07 Pick of the Week

This week I've picked a very interesting game. This game is called Captain Tsubasa and it's based on an anime back in the 80s about soccer. Now if you never heard of this anime that's ok because it was something you would known of if you only lived in Japan or South America and maybe some parts of Europe. Well this game plays like an RPG for example, you will get the ball and then when you encounter an enemy you will get the menu and you can pick what you want to do that is to either pass the ball or kick it to the goal etc.

This game is long and you will probably be better off using an emulator rather than your NES or Famicom to play this game. One of the main reasons is because the game is in Japanese and the passwords are in Japanese. Also, due to the language barrier you will probably not understand what's going on unless you know some Japanese but then again there are lots of cut scenes that will give you an idea on what's happening. At first, you will start with a team that isn't that talented but as you move on in the game you will get better and level up just like an RPG but also don't forget that your competition will also get a lot better that it can get very annoying.

Alright well overall if you are a soccer fan and an RPG fan then this is the game to try if you haven't that is. If you are just interested then I also recommend this game because the game play is just so fantastic that you will forget it's a soccer/RPG game and just think of it as a really good damn game.

6/15/07 MLB Summer Season Update

The Virtual MLB League has finally been updated with the newer standings. As you may have heard, the data for the season was lost in a hard drive crash and so the season was pulled back for a whole month. Well it can't be all that bad since it'll give teams with bad records a chance to reach the .500 mark or even more.

6/15/07 NES Hacks Section Update

I have updated the NES hacks section and finished adding my old Mario Adventure hacks. Just in case you still don't know these hacks have some flaws like enemies not in place so I have decided to remake all of them. There are pictures of the remake of the first Mario Adventure on the NES hacks page if anyone wants to see the improvements.

6/15/07 Secret Agent

Today we have another game to mention. This one is called Secret Agent and is another hit by Apogee. This game plays similar to Crystal Caves and it's just another damn good platformer. Don't hesitate to try this game out with DOSBOX or your old DOS machine.

6/15/07 NES Collection Updated!

I added 10 more cartridges to the NES Collection page which gives a total of 30 cartridges. I still have lots more carts to post but I will be doing this work little by little.

6/14/07 NES Hacks Section Added

It was about time I added this section to the site. This is the section where you'll see how my hacks are being improved and their development. Also as a bonus I will add all the hacks from the old days when I was a member of Dreamwave Games. Cheers

6/14/07 Yet Another Update

Just wanted to announce the Soccer League Section which will have everything about my virtual soccer league. All the matches should go back to normal this weekend.
*Also another set of news. I used to be in Dreamwave Games (a NES hacking group) back many years ago (1999). Well I have decided to bring back the group even tough Vortex774(the leader) is gone I'm going to keep hacking for the love of the game. I will be creating a special section with all of our works from the past. Of course there weren't many hacks released by us since our lifetime was short but it's time to continue and I'm ready to give it all to make Dreamwave Games stand out. I do admit I have a lot to learn.

6/14/07 Crystal Caves

Wow I can't believe we are already almost halfway through DOS MONTH! I hope the titles I have advice have helped you entertain yourself. This one is like no other title. You are this wimpy little guy and you must get gems and finish up the levels etc. You are a miner with a greedy attitude. I really recommend this game because of the PC speaker sound it has. It's pure DOS I tell you.

6/14/07 Mario Adventure Remakes

I was just looking around at the old Mario Adventure hacks I made back in 1999 and they are just horrible. They crash in random places and the level design is just horrible. I decided to start from scratch and re due the hacks yes all 4 of them. I just don't like how they look and play. I will start on this work as soon as I can. I'm busy with other stuff right now but soon a NES hacks section will be released. All Mario Adventures will have the graphics of Mario Adventure V which I got the permission to use by the author. Thanks again!

6/14/07 Mario Adventure V WIP!

Alright finally the time has come to release some screen shots of the progress my newest hack has gone through. I haven't hacked a SMB game in almost 8 years and I think I'm getting the hang of it again. The well awaited sequel of a series of 10 SMB hacks is finally going to take growth. Yeah I do plan on releasing a total of 10 Mario Adventure titles for the fan of new levels(yeah nothing fancy). Alright well enjoy the screen shots and I will post more on it as the month progresses.

Mario Adventure V Mario Adventure VMario Adventure VMario Adventure VMario Adventure V

6/13/07 Matches Announced!

Above are the matches that will be played in the upcoming anniversary. Hope the match ups are of your interest and if not well still stay tune for the results. Also as a bonus we'll have a rematch of last years world cup championship final.

6/13/07 My Blog Opened!

Good news now you can check my own personal blog and leave your messages. I will try and post an entry every day so keep on visiting and leave a comment! Cya

6/13/07 Prepare for Friday

This Friday all the virtual sport sections will be updated as well as more new section coming up for the soccer league. The league will resume this Friday and the results will be updated as the weekend progresses. There might be a total of 4 round played to make up for the last 2 weeks of no action. Then 2 rounds next week to get up to date.

6/13/07 Clyde's Adventure

Today's DOS pick is of an side scrolling game that doesn't involve any killing or stomping. All you have to do in this game is be greedy and get all the crystal things so you can leave the castle. Well, the only problem is that this fat ass ran out of stamina real quick so you need to get the job done without doing anything stupid which gets real challenging as the game progresses to later stages. Anyways, enough of that and go and try this one out if you are looking for a side scrolling challenge.

6/13/07 NES and Famicom Sections Update

Well big update to the NES section. I added 10 more cartridges of my collection for you guys to see. Also, in the Famicom section I added a picture with 4 pirate cartridges which you'll be able to see in section 5. One more thing, the NES section has now been extended to two sections so that the pages will load faster. Thanks for visiting.

6/12/07 NES Section Update!

More carts added to my collection so go ahead and check it out. More to come!

6/12/07 Alone in the Dark

Now this game really freaks me out until today. This is a game that can be called the Resident Evil of the DOS era. Well, I think I said enough about this game. Go survive for your life.

Like usual go get DOSBOX if you haven't and find this title via-google. Get going!

6-01-07 Paraguay 1-4 USA
6-01-07 Mexico 0-8 Japan
6-01-07 Latvia 2-3 Germany
6-01-07 Senegal 4-0 Korea

6/11/07 Famicom Section Update

There are no new games in this update but there is a compression of the photos of my collection so that means that when you visit the Famicom section the photos will load faster and you will be able to view the whole pages in less time. Enjoy

6/11/07 NES Section Update

Well I decided to update the NES section using scans I found online from other sites. I think this is better to save the HD space I have left in my free account. As of now I can't afford to pay the fees for more HD space but I'll come up with something. Alright hope you enjoy the games I have added and please e-mail me if you have any questions. A written list will be released once I'm done uploading all the pictures.
Note:Less resolution photos will be added so that the page will load faster and to save bandwidth and site space.

6/11/07 2 New Sections Added

Two new sections have been added which I will work on later this month so they are under construction as of now. These sections will have as mentioned of course NES game reviews and NES game walkthroughs which will include pictures of the games and everything that you need to conquer it. It will also have tips but that will be discussed in the future.

6/11/07 Luis Games Anniversary Special Coming On The 19th

Well soccer has always been a part of Luis Games and now it's time to have a special day for our 9 year anniversary. I know this site hasn't been up for 9 years but my brand name has been alive since that time and yeah I didn't even had internet back then. I did and a little bit later I started collecting games and enjoying them. I called my collection and Luis Games and so it all started. 1998 was the first year Luis Games was around and my collection grew even more with time and the use of floppy disks. Afterwards in 1999 I started my NES Rom list and then came the first site I ever had which was in Geocities. Well I continued sharing my knowledge of gaming via-forums and online gaming that started in the year 2000. By 2001 this site finally was ready to launch and I moved everything from the Geocities site into this one. I started to loose interest in my site and wasn't widely updated throughout the years and I decided to do other works. I also did some NES Rom hacking back in 1999 releasing 4 super mario bros hacks called Mario Adventure. Well going back to 2002 I decided to extend my site and set up DOS Games for download but it didn't worked out. Alright, so lets move on a couple of more years until 2006 and to the point where my site is vastly updated but abandoned later on. Now to the present day, where my site is updated daily and I'm finally getting on to making Luis Games known throughout the internet but as far as now this is my personal site.

Well now to get to the good part. There will be a total of 10 friendlies played the 18th and 19th of June. Alright so the match ups will be announced later this week. Also another note, everything will be back to normal starting tomorrow and during the week all the latest results and scores will be posted as usual. Also the NES section will be getting a huge update to show off my NES carts to the public and friends. Also I have been thinking of new things to add to the site that will be announce later in the month. One more thing, my NES hacks section will be opened so you can see the progress of Mario Adventure V and the re-release of the other Mario Adventures.

6/11/07 Blake Stone Fun

Here is the 11th day of DOSMONTH and more and more games are being added to the list as the month continues on. This one is not one to ignore. Well this game plays like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D which is something really really good. Now, the only difference is the fact that you can kill even the good guys but the good guys can be the bad guys anyways! Alright this is more of a futuristic Wolfenstein 3D and Doom kinda game.

Well you know the usual search on the web for it and download DOSBOX so it can work on your fancy new machines.

6/10/07 Frogger Day

Another one of the classics of the DOS era well of any era back in the 1980s. Frogger is truly one of the games that have been cloned so many times. This game can probably compete with all the Pacman clones. Anyways, the game I'm talking about is pretty much Frogger well any Frogger game. There are so many clones that there is really no reason to name one.

Well you know the drill. Find this game and dosbox via google.com or some other search engine. I guarantee you that you will be able to find the game.

6/9/07 RPG Aspetra is Here

Ever wanted to play Dragon Warrior on your PC? Well this is the title that can bring you this and more. When I started playing this back in 1998 I was amazed at how much fun this game was. I was truly aware of the fact that this game played like Dragon Warrior for the NES. Well I recommend this game mostly to any RPG fan and I would like to know what everyone thinks of it.

Since this game is abandoneware you shouldn't have trouble finding the full version of it. Well that's about it for now. More worth your time titles will be coming as DOS MONTH continues.

6/8/07 Pick of the Week

Dragon Warrior 2 is a must have for any NES/Famicom fan. It's truly one of the most playable dragon warrior games of the NES generation. Alright well this is the pick of the week but remember the other ones.

Well the challenge of the game gets a little harder as you go by especially when you get your allies at level 1 when you are level 15!! Well it's not that bad because leveling up always feels so rewarding. The dungeons and towers you have to go through are a work at most but you are able to overcome them if you come prepared. A lot of so called Dragon Warrior clones were released in Japan during the Famicom era but most of them were enjoyable to play since you had a Dragon Warrior game that had a different story and equipment. These clones never did harm at all. In fact, they were making the Famicom console more enjoyable.

Well to finish things up just pick up this game on Ebay for around 20-30 bucks if you have the cash for it or just get it via-rom and try it out. I assure you that if you are a RPG fan especially a classic RPG fan, you will love this.

6/8/07 All Events Put On Hold Due To Tragic Event

As the title says there will be no results on the soccer or baseball leagues. I will still update the DOS game of the day during DOS Month but all virtual sports will be put on hold. Thanks for your patience....

6/8/07 You Are All DOOMED!!

Here is the Doom of everyone. Doom is just one of those games I will never forget in my youth years of gaming. I may be 22 years old but it just seems like so long ago when I played this game. Along with Wolfenstein 3D, this game was in my favorite list. The game is just so plain fun and discovering the secret areas as well as using the machine gun to blow up the barrels of well explosive liquid I'm guessing has never been more fun than this.

The missions are well of numerous numbers. You just don't seem to find the end of this game but that's ok because the game play is so great that you won't even realize you have beaten 12 levels in half an hour.

Alright so the deal is the same. Use DOSBOX emulator to run all of these beauties in the way the old machines were able to run them. Also please pleaseeeee stay tune for more on DOSBOX month.

6/8/07 Goodbye Pink Nose

Yesterday around 5pm my cat wasn't able to survive a severe internal bleeding and was put to sleep to stop his suffering. I'm so sorry that his life had to end like that but I am happy he lived the short time he was with us the best. I will miss him so much you people don't have any idea. When I feel better after all of this events I will create a shrine for him on this site to forever remember him.

6/7/07 Mystic Day

Mystic Tower's game play took by surprise because it's nothing like on the pictures I saw back when this game came out. You are actually in a tower battling your way through floors filled with monsters and traps. Being an old man has never been so satisfying but what I'm surprised of is the metabolism of this old guy. He just needs to eat every so often and he is always losing his water level ahhhh!!

Well I only played the shareware of this titles but that's just more than enough to call this one another one of the classics out there. The sound is impressive and the difficulty is quite challenging. This old man has a lot of adventures still to come.

6/6/07 Hocus Pocus Magic!

One of the better side scrolling games made by Apogee was Hocus Pocus. This game showed a really interesting concept of gaming/magic which made things real fun. Gotta love those PC speaker sounds. Anyways, the gameplay is truly worthwhile and the levels are challenging so you gotta be careful with your jumping ability.

Alright well to finish things up with this game I truly recommend it because this is one of those games that makes you want to discover all the treasures in every level and that's just so damn fun.

6/5/07 Duke Nukem 3D Takes Over Day 5

This is one of the games from the old times that really make me come for more especially for the strip club level ohhh yeahhh back then that's the best porn I could find lol it was a long time ago and those were the best graphics around. Anyways, this game is like DOOM but in some ways better. The graphics are better and you have hilarious things that happen in the game like peeing or cursing yeah all the good stuff.

Well the game is full of challenge as well but it all really depends on what difficulty setting you pick. Alright well putting aside all of that lets get to the point, this game is just damn fun to play with. Even if you don't have sound on the game, it's really just a masterpiece if you ask me. I can assure you that Duke Nukem 3D is the best of all the series and believe me I've played all the series. The rest of them are OK but they are nowhere near this game.

So let me finish up this explanation for gaming viciousness by telling you that if you are a next gen player then this is the title you can mostly relate to. After all, that's all you see in most of the games nowadays god even you can score with some of the new hottest titles released nowadays....I was being sarcastic btw.

6/4/07 Update on what has been going on.

Well I should be getting my new HD today but the problem is that I have school all day and I won't be able to do anything until I get home. Anyways, updates should go back to normal by the end of this week and many more updates on other sections are being prepared by yours truly.

6/4/07 Menace on the Fourth!

This is one of the best Apogee games of their time(now Apogee is known as 3D Realms). The setting is this, you are this guy fighting aliens and such to save the world simple as that. Well the killing alien things has been used so many time but who cares this game is just a lot of fun. You have your gun as a weapon and can shoot the brains out of aliens(you'll even see the guts flying when you kill those damn aliens). The graphics were really good for a game of its time and the music is all around well beat up music(lol don't know what I just said there but whatever).

Now don't think I'm a suck up just because it's from Apogee and I'm an Apogee fan but really this is a game that took me back for hours of fun. Even tough it was back then I still find it fun and I just can't believe I never beat this game. Don't get me wrong it's not that it's an impossible to beat game, but I was just too lazy to play this game all the way through even after hours of fun.

Overall, this game is another one you should add to your classics collection if you haven't done so and of course I advice you to use DOSBOX with this title for best performance. All three chapters of this game are to die for so please look this game up if you want some laid back golden age action because like their slogan "Apogee Means Action".

6/3/07 Wolf on Day 3

Presenting the game that introduced first person shooter genre into the world of gaming. Wolfenstein 3D was and is still one of the most incredible games from the DOS era. This game is practically as enjoyable as when it came out. If it wasn't for this game we wouldn't have such great first person shooters today. We should worship this title even if you didn't grew up playing this.

The best part of the game is the whole Nazi killing thing since it is one of the things I enjoy doing the most, I never get tired of it. Also, the hilarious screams the guys do when I shoot them. This game contains many secrets too as well as boss fights to keep you interested through all the chapters of the game.

I highly recommend looking this game up if you like you shoot things and of course don't forget to use DOSBOX emulator to play it on your new age PCs. Of course I don't need that emulator since I have a PC that can play it perfectly with sound and everything!! haha lucky me.

6/2/07 Info on What has been happening?

Well I'm pretty sure you all know what happened to my PC and everything that has been going on lately. First of all, the HD I ordered didn't came in today so I'll have to wait until Monday to have my PC back to normal. Also I managed to fix the other PC to be able to run Windows 98 SE but it can't go online since it needs the USB drivers etc etc. I'm only using that PC for DOS gaming since it's so good for it (it even has PC speaker sound!!) Also I tried the broken HD on another PC that I had but nothing so I'm pretty sure the problem was the HD. Alright so the baseball season will only be taken back 1 month so that's not much of a problem and also the Soccer league was not lost at all since I made a back up a week before the happenings. It'll still take some time to get the results since I don't have a PC to input all the data in. Alright so that's about it for now. I will take more NES photos to upload maybe tomorrow or probably tonight who knows.

6/2/07 God of DOS

God of Thunder is Zelda on the PC. Yeah this action packed adventure game is well to be worth your time. THe puzzle solving will keep you interested for days and days and days. The graphics were incredible for its time and the challenge was for anyone who was willing to solve puzzles.

The story is pretty much the same in which you start off as a son of some super being and you have to save the world. Well that storyline has been used so many times but who cares you have right here 3 chapters of incredible fun. You can also be evil if you want and kill everyone in the village but of course you'll loose points and will get a lesson from your father.

Over all this is an RPG/Adventure game that is a must have for any fan of the golden ages. This is just one great game to not miss at all. I highly recommend each and every one of the games I will mention throughout this month.

6/1/07 DOS Month Starts!

Commander Keen is truly the Super Mario of the PC golden ages. With great challenging level and a fun factor that's still good till present day, Commander Keen shows us that the PC had game back in the later 80s. This game is one of the best from the old DOS era not only for it's mechanics but for its simplicity. This game showed us how important it's to have basic controls capable of doing great things.

There is no better way to start DOS Month without mentioning this game. You can get the shareware version pretty much anywhere online nowadays and maybe you'll be lucky enough to find the full version in a couple of sites.

This game can also be played on the PSP if you have custom firmware so you can play this classic on the go. Since many computers nowadays are too fast to run this old game you'll need DOSBOX which is a DOS emulator for windows and it's one of the best emulators to enjoy any old DOS game. Stay tune for more as DOS MONTH day 2 goes underway.

5/31/07 DOS Month

Alright well even though there have been a tragedy hmm read below tomorrow is the 1st official Luis Games DOS MONTH!! Yeah all this June I will be showing info on great DOS games that'll make you want to play them!! Come on you know you want to!!! hahaha.... More on that tomorrow.

5/31/07 More Info

Well not many more updates as of now. I will be taking pictures of more NES cartridges and probably some Famicom photos. I've been busy with tests but I shouldn't be bothered by them that much.

5/31/07 Update

Ok I have some new info on what's going on with me. I will be able to get the soccer league data back but it'll take days of work to do it and I plan to do it tonight. Also, I will be taking the MLB section down until further notice. Everything should be back to normal by next week. A NES collection update has been postponed until this weekend.

5/30/07 Horrible News!

So I got home and bam my pc was acting weird then 2 hours after trying to see what's wrong I finally found out what it was. My hard drive died and so did all my files and important info. I can't believe this all my future projects were in it and now everything is gone. I can't have round 7 of the soccer league until this weekend that way I have time to figure things out since I lost all those records but thank god I have a back up. Now the worst part of all is the baseball league in which I had no back up of and will need to be replay starting from game 40 or something but we'll catch up. Please consider all the baseball standings into nothing because it'll have to be played all over again. Thanks for your patience and hopefully I'll have things running back to normal by this weekend. For now I'm using my laptop to post news and other stuff. I will play around with this old pc I have and see if I can get it to run at least windows 98 properly. See you later.

5/30/07 MLB Section Opened

In order to save some bandwidth and save a lot of peopke time in loading this page I decided to create the MLB section. So if you want to see how your favorite team is doing in the virtual league just head over and check it out. More additions will be added soon.

5/29/07 NES Section Opened for the Public

Well here it is the NES Section is opened and so far there is only one picture but I think this section looks pretty good. Enjoy!

5/29/07 Famicom Section Super Update!

Huge update to the Famicom Section which has more photos of my cartridges and don't worry there is more to come!

5/28/07 New Section in the Works!

A NES section is in the works in which I'll be posting pictures of my NES collection and any new additions. There is so much work to do so lets get to it! As of now you can visit the page but there is nothing in it since it's under construction.

5/28/07 Pick of the Week!

I know this pick is coming a little early on the week but I just couldn't wait any longer. I finally found the game I was in search for! Introducing Super Mario Bros 8!! Yeah I finally found this pirate and even though it's only the rom, I'm very excited. This game brings back so many memories and if everything goes well I will have the cartridge in my hands soon enough.

This is probably one of the hardest roms to find in the net since it's not in any of the latest romsets released to the public. Only a few have the rom right now and I'm one of them. Well I will be uploading the rom very soon so please stay tune and enjoy the pics.

5/24/07 Mario Adventure V back in the works

Last year I announce this hack but I was so busy with other deals that I wasn't able to work on this game at all. Well all I have for now are a few levels done and the graphics totally rearranged but at least I have something to show for now.

5/24/07 Mario Adventure Revision!

Back in 1999 I was part of a rom hacking group called DreamWave Games and I did many NES hacks including Kid Icarus Adventure, Castlevania Adventure, and Blades of Steal South American Championship. I came upon my old hack called Mario Adventure and decided to do a little cleaning to the games. I released Mario Adventure 1-4 in the same year but part 3 and 4 never saw the light of day. Well now it's time to re-release them and here is the first of the 4 chapters.

This time around I decided to pick a pirated game that came into my attention in an interesting way. Super Donkey Kong 2 is a port of the SNES hit into the NES. YESSS THE NES!!! Well this game only contains 3 levels but it could have been more. I really recommend this game to anyone wanting to play something weird for a while even though it's only 3 levels.

Here is some information about the legendary Konami code.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The Konami Code (A.K.A. Contra Code) is a cheat code that can be used in many Konami video games, usually giving the player a large number of lives or fully charging up the abilities of the character. The code was first used in the 1986 release of Gradius for the Nintendo Entertainment System but was made famous in the Contra series. During the game, the player presses the following sequence of buttons on the game controller:

↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A

This is the original version of the code, designed for the NES controller. In many popular representations of the code, "Start" is added at the end of the sequence. This is because in many of the early occurrences of the code, "Start" had to be pressed before any effects of the code could be seen. In these cases, "Start" either started or unpaused the game. The exact sequence varies from game to game, and has been adapted to fit the button layouts of different video game consoles. "

5/16/07 Baseball Season Updates

The Baseball season schedule is set to play 5-8 games a week and the final results will be posted every Friday or Saturday. 5/16/07 Famicom section under construction

So I decided to add another section although this one is under construction. I will be taking pictures of all my Famicom/Nes carts and accessories to have a place to show them off to everyone. Hope you people enjoy the pictures when they are added. So far done in the page are the background and a front picture of a Famicom which in the future will change to one of my pictures. I'm using a Super Mario Bros scroll clouds background which I think looks neat and a lot more stuff will be added little by little. I do keep collecting Famicom games and accessories every time I get a chance to buy them so you'll never see that section without an update. Well, that's all for now.

5/14/07 Match of Week 2

There was so much pressure for these two teams to start right but in the end the game ended in a rain of goals. I'm talking about the Spartak 3-3 Newcastle United match which turned into an instant classic. I for once enjoyed these teams fouling, playing dirty, and kicking the ball if like there was no tomorrow.

The match started with a quick goal by Newcastle but as soon as the celebrating was done, Spartak's surprising offense took Newcastle's defense by surprise and an incredible goal was scored. Being the score 1-1 Newcastle decided to gamble and bring their offense quite a little bit forward although it mostly turned out in offside calls and easy recovery by the Spartak defense, they kept trying. Newcastle United finally was able to get a good play and Shearer didn't looked back and scored to bring Newcastle up 2-1.

After halftime the teams came out with a more enraged personality. 5 yellow cards were given in the first 5 minutes of the match (3 for newcastle and 2 for spartak) and a few minutes later the Newcastle defense made a foul in the goal area for a penalty kick as well as an expulsion. Spartak's offense didn't blink and tied things up 2-2. Now Newcastle United only with 10 man was about to be a target of an incredible offensive attack. Spartak came up with the ball getting closer and finding the holes in the Newcastle defense which was a lot easier since the numbers were less. Finally, Spartak took a big shot from out of the goal area and in to make things 3-2 and give Newcastle United something to think about.

Newcastle United didn't had much time left and wasted their 3 substitution with players that no other club had seen in action. Newcastle offense became fast and coming but having only 10 men would prove to be a handicap. Finally with only 20 seconds left in the match a miracle center fell in shearer's way for a header goal that left all Spartak team in shock. The final 3-3 and a well deserve draw for both sides although Spartak probably though they could have gotten a bigger more abundant victory.

This was the match of week 2. Every week I'll pick the best most exciting match to make a whole overhaul of. Thanks for reading.

5/10/07 Enron #1 Money Mess

"No. 1: The big crooked E That was Enron's logo, and it was a fitting symbol of a Texas-size swindle that took in everybody, including the president of the United States. George W. Bush's nickname for the power company's chairman, Kenneth Lay, was Kenny Boy.

Enron was the favorite utility of environmentalists because its real business wasn't distributing natural gas but rather conducting exotic (but nonpolluting) financial manipulations. But the greens weren't alone: The five largest shareholders of Enron were Fidelity Management, Alliance Capital, Janus Capital Group (JNS, news, msgs), Putnam Investment Management and Barclays (BCS, news, msgs). In reality, what Enron did was something of a mystery; the company's own Web site called it "difficult to define." What it really did was fraud: private partnership deals that favored insiders over the company. The deals were disclosed in varying degrees in the fine print of regulatory filings.

When Enron collapsed, it erased $63 billion in shareholder equity, including the life savings of many of its employees. The financial mastermind, Jeffrey Skilling, is serving a 24-year prison sentence. Lay would be in prison, too, if he hadn't died."

Insane how things like this still happen nowadays. I'm sure they will keep happening until the day we disappear from the face of the earth.

5/6/07 Friendly Updates

Update on the latest soccer friendlies.

5/1/07 Division B gets started

Now off to Division B. This division will also have a playoff round but the 2 finalist will be promoted to Division A. Also, regarding Division A, the bottom 2 teams of each Division A and B will be downgraded to the lower divisions.

5/1/07 Let the Luis Games League Begin

Time for the debut of 84 Clubs from around the world for one champion in each division. Each team except Division D teams went through a division qualifying round where depending on their results each team was added to a different division. Therefore, Each team has to go through their division in most they will make it to a playoffs stage and more. Anyways, let me start with the results of Division A play where the best teams from the qualifier are. Division A contains 16 teams that during the qualifying round made it to the quarterfinals which qualified them to Division A in one shot. Now all of these teams will go against each other for 30 rounds in order to be at least in the top 8 to be able to reach the playoffs. After the 30 rounds the playoffs will start and the remaining 8 teams will go against each other. The playoff rounds were added to the league in order to give an 8 seed team who might have gone through injuries and other faulty circumstances to be able to reach the final and be the champion. The winner of this division will be Champion of the Luis Games League. Below are results of the first round of Division A.

4/22/07 Upcoming Friendlies

And to end the weekend update here is the friendly schedule up to may 20th, 2007. Lots of these matches look interesting especially England vs Japan since it is a never ending rematch of the 2005 world cup final. So many great memories!

4/22/07 Friendlies

Other than tournaments and qualifying rounds, we have had a bunch of exhibition games since the start of the season on the 3rd of march. Time to show how teams have fare until the date of today.

4/22/07 Other Qualifiers on their way

Asian Qualifiers and African Qualifiers are on their way. Notable results are China 1-1 Japan and Egypt 1-0 Cameroon. Japan and Egypt are predicted to be qualified for sure. Only 2 rounds left in the Asian Qualifier and Japan just looks indestructible. It's amazing how much their game has improved and they'll definitely make a move into the world cup finals in Germany this year. Full match results and standings to come soon. Also the Luis Games League will start on May 1st with three divisions full of actions.

4/16/07 Results of second 11 rounds

And so this is the final set of matches. The only round where every home team won was on round 13. USA reached 4th place and the super goal scorer title with donovan. Congrats USA!! Also Peru showed that even with the retirement of Cubillas their young renewed team has some talent as they took 1st place as well as a spot in the world cup and continental cup that will be played later this year.

4/16/07 Results of first 11 rounds

8/8/06 Peru is King!

Peru is champion of the world. They won it last friday against england in a final to remember. 5-1 was the final score and it was a game to watch until the end. I'm proud of them. Anyways in other news the baseball season website is going well and will hopefully be up by the Fall A season. Well not much more to say really just keep coming back for more.

7/28/06 World Cup 2006 Peru Started with a blast

A night to remember on the day of the independence of Peru the peruvian team came out and gave their public a match to remember. Cubillas final world cup action started incredible and Peru was able to finish off a South African nation that could barely counter attack. Peru 4 South Africa 0 was posted all over the net last night as the peruvian team gave the critics something else to talk about. So this is it the start of the 2006 world cup finally the day arrived and many gamers around the world went to see the top teams of the world in match up that left them wanting more. Peru will face Brazil on Sunday. Another match up was from the Brazilians themselves who came up with a victory over the Germans in Group A action 3-2. Brazil showed a different side and that's what made the difference in this match up. Japan gave their world cup run another try and the 2 time defending world cup champions took care of cameroon by a very narrow 1-0 victory that left the japanese fans a little nervous about the next matches. The Americans came up with a great victory 3-2 over Colombia. Colombia showed a lot but not enough to tie the match and the US took care of business when it matters. Ecuador gave the big surprise and defeated Argentina 2-1 in their opener. Now Argentina must get a victory in their next match up if they want to advance in the tournament. More of the results will be released tomorrow. The second round will be played on sunday the 30th. Keep cheering for your teams!!
