Assassin
This Quake 2 Superheroes character may be hired at the Quake Training Center.
Starting Level:
20
How to Get Him:
Most likely hiring at the Quake Training Center. He'll probably cost 3000 for "hits" and 40,000 to stay with you. However, if he gets free weaponry, power, and a good cause, he might just stick with you.
Abilities:
Additional Damage from Behind: The Assassin sometimes does more damage from behind.
Automatic Shadow Meld: In shadows, the Assassin automatically becomes invisible.
"Price": Randomly, the Assassin gets an order to do a "hit" on an enemy, who is then usually informed that there is a price on their head. If the enemy is defeated, the Assassin gets special bonuses (usually extra money).
Respawn Teleport: Assassin can teleport to the "spawning point", a place where people come in. This is primarily used for ambushes. One unique use is to ambush a monster you know will be coming by teleporting
Equipment:
Note: The Assassin does not use the BFG 10K as a standard arsenal equipment.
Blaster: All Quake 2 characters have this bad weapon. However, it does have unlimited ammo.
Chaingun: A weapon that can turn enemies into giblets in seconds, but chews through your ammo like there's no tomorrow.
Grenade Launcher: A fairly good combination trap-setter and explosive weapon.
Hyperblaster: An automatic energy weapon that chews enemies up.
Machinegun: A slower-firing, albeit still lethal, bullet launcher.
Railgun: A single-shot weapon capable of cleaving enemies into little giblets.
Rocket Launcher: This weapon launches moderately-quick moving rockets.
Shotgun: Most Q2 characters start with a shotgun or acquire one quickly, as well. It has plentiful ammo, but does only moderate damage.
Super Shotgun: A double-barreled shotgun that truly is quite more lethal. At close range, enemies can be subdued quickly.
Element Learned from Spekkio:
Shadow.
