Azmad Azral
The famous Magic Knight of the
Councils. He was one of the few Council members to not be killed,
but he was put into a stasis field deep ina cave below his
hometown. A magnificent tomb was then constructed on top of it.
Azmad Azral was one of the best Council members and was a
personal favorite of the Golden Knight's. His awakening explains
more of the All-Monster's history.
Starting Level
120; it used to be in the 200
zone, but his skills deteoriated.
Abilities:
Sword Magic: The ability to temporarily enchant swords with a
particular spell. Azmad Azral has mastered this efficient art and
may have been the progenitor of the FF5 style school.
Equipment:
Dual Scimitars: These scimitars are ultimate weapons.
They are Azmad Azral's pride and joy.
- The scimitars are next to indestructible and teleport
back at a moment's notice.
- The scimitars are specially designed to be fully
compatible with Sword Magic. Sword Magic put into them
either cost half as much or are twice as damaging. In
addition, spells can be combined into them, and they have
a "Memory" feature, which allows the most
recent spells enchanted upon them to be reverted back to
even if another spell has taken the first one's place.
- The scimitars are, of course, enchanted to be superior
weapons. They have excellent grip, supreme cutting power,
and are lightweight.
- The scimitars have a sort of limited symbiotic
intelligence. This enhances Azmad Azral's speed and
reflexes using the sword.
- The scimitars always glow with a dim light. This dim
light is a weak magical energy. Those who know nothing
about Sword Magic or those looking for a simplistic touch
can merely pump energy into the swords and watch as their
energy field begins to equal vibro, ion or plasma blades
in power. Furthermore, the dim light functions as a
parrying tool to parry off energy.
- The scimitars put a temporary barrier, ala Initial
Barrier Materia, around Azmad Azral to protect him for
the first few turns of a battle.
- The scimitars are moderate-strength holy weapons.
- The scimitars have additional Sword Magic upgrades
enabling the swords to be enchanted with other forms of
magic besides Black and a few rare White spells,
including Time and Blue spells.
