Crocodile Hunter
Crikey! The Crocodile Hunter is available as a very interesting joke character.
Starting Level:
14.
How to Get Him:
The Crocodile Hunter smiles in the face of death and will do anything for adventure, so offering him a chance to see the wildest things he'll ever see is likely to be pretty appealing. However, he is concerned about the welfare of the show, so players will have to agree to do specials occasionally.
Abilities:
Animal Friend: A supreme version of the Fallout 2 Perk. If he is trying to evade detection from animals, he has a 75% chance of being ignored, but a 25% chance of being attacked. He will take 0 damage and all allies take half damage.
Medic Truck: Crocodile Hunter can call a Medic Truck into virtually anywhere. On the sea, it'll come screaming in an amphibous hovercraft. In the mountains, it'll come screeching over rocks. On an airship, it'll fly and land onto the deck. And so on and so forth. The Medic Truck must be summoned for one turn. During the one turn interval that it is arriving, it is vulnerable to attack, but it's HP is enormous and it's speed makes it able to dodge most attacks. When it arrives, all players are injected with an antidote shot that relieves ALL status effects and restores 50% HP, up to the max, plus offers slight bonuses for further status effect rolls and for strength. Later on, the Medic Truck will also be carrying items, like machineguns, additional syringes of the healing chemical, and so on.
Poison Resistance: At first, the Crocodile Hunter takes 1% damage from all poisons and 30% damage from all acids. This eventually turns into an 0% damage factor.
Summon Animals: The Crocodile Hunter, at level 30 without ABP allocation, learns how to summon various species of snakes and reptiles, as well as other animals he works with on the show. At first, the animals must come out of some location where they cannot be seen; forest, behind a rock or dune, out from a building, etc. If the landscape is completely flat, Crocodile Hunter must be at level 50 to summon them. In that case, the animals fall from the sky, but they only take 10% of their HP in damage. If they land upon an enemy, that enemy takes the damage appropriate AND the 10% the animal would normally have taken.
Ultimate Equipment:
Extreme Pocketknife: The ultimate Pocketknife. A thick, Swiss-army style knife set with an almost infinitesimal number of grooves. The Crocodile Hunter is incomparably adept at controlling what will pop out; equal to a 500% +1 per FB level Rifts proficiency (meaning that someone would have to reduce his skill performance by at least 82% to make sure that he would have a slight chance of failure). The knife teleports back at will. All storage slots actually can contain the same amount as a mini-fridge. Thus, the following items are included in the knife (more can also be added or made up on the spot).
