Dark Archon
Dark Archons have powerful abilities and are very useful.
Abilities:
Feedback: Turns your enemy's MP, PP, etc. into damage. Very mean, especially when played against a fellow mage/psionic. Because those characters tend to have lots of MP and not a lot of HP, this hurts them especially. Note that with huge amounts of MP, you might have to Feedback a lot.
Maelstrom: Trap enemies. Very mean.
Mind Control: Takes over the mind of the enemies.

Dark Maelstrom: At Adun's Shrine on Aiur, fight the boss who guards the "final technique for thou Dark Templar fusions". It will surrender Dark Maelstrom, and you'll be able to use it. Dark Maelstrom is a no-nonsense ULB: Dark energy flows into the enemy, damaging them and forming a Maelstrom; Feedback energy rips inside the Maelstrom; Mind Control strikes.

Have one of these guys. The ability to reverse someone's MP makes him a mage killer, despite the fact that he is a mage-type himself. Mind Control is a great way to secure losses in a duel, especially combined with Maelstrom. Just be sure to load him with guns and other weapons so he can actually fight. -Fred
