Flametongue

The mighty Flametongue, an Ancient Red Dragon, is the mortal enemy of Raven Quickblade. Final Battle assumes that both combatants were left alive. Flametongue still is angered, but even a Red Dragon cannot keep a grudge forever. Flametongue's experiences in the Enchanted Realms made him more confident of his strength and more eager to explore. He amassed a massive treasure hold, which helped to forgive the loss of the Shield of Dragonkind. Flametongue comes with Sistoo, Gridelin, and likely the Gold Dragon, Water Elemental, Mist Dragon, or his Red Dragon fiancee.

Abilities:

Firebreath: Flametongue's powerful firebreath. It's use is limited.

See the Invisible: Flametongue can see things that others cannot.

Special Attributes:

Absorbs some amount of HP from fire damage.

Equipment:

Claws: Flametongue attacks with his fangs and claws.

Dragon Amulet: Either allows Flametongue to attack for a little more than 1/3 of his regular damage capacity in human form or to stop a small amount of spell damage in the first turn of combat.

Healing Potion: Restores some HP.

Retreat Ring: This ring allows you to escape almost all battles, but the cost is dear. It has three uses. The second use actually takes you to a place where Flametongue can get your team training in Fighting and Magic.

Magic:

Change to Human: This spell can be done for three encounters on the same memorization/MP use.

Charm Monster: Mind controls a monster, who will then serve you for two battles.

Enfeeblement: Causes enemies to do half normal damage.

Enchant Claws: All claw attacks hit automatically. Must be done against an inhuman creature.

Enlarge: Doubles physical damage for the entire battle.

Fireball: Does damage equal to Magic Missiles to all enemies.

Fumble: All enemies drop their weapons and cannot pick them up for 2 turns.

Haste: Doubles amount of attacks.

Invisibility: Lasts one round.

Lightning Bolt: Does damage equal to Flametongue's claws to one enemy.

Magic Missiles: Do some damage.

Shield: Puts up an energy barrier that absorbs a small amount of damage (1 HP of Flametongue's 67) of all attacks in one battle.

Sleep: Puts weaker enemies to sleep.

Wall of Fire: Allows you to escape.

Web: All enemies cannot hit you.
