Fred/Dark Fred
This might be one of the most evil of all of the fusions. Fred and Dark Fred will typically fuse later in the adventure. Similar to Kami and Piccolo, the two's powers ascend to far more than their combined power. Only a few have seen this coming; Mr. Excelsior is among that number.
Their fusion, and resulting multiplication of power, may seem to be odd; after all, they are not essence fragments like Kami or Piccolo. Or are they? The truth is what clinches the failure of the Dark Pheonix Project. I Should Slap You felt that the Magi powers were ways of controlling magic. Regrettably, magic is chaotic, and is difficult for non-magical societies to capture scientifically. Fred was being pushed to the limit in all sorts of ways to test his capacity for recruitment and training as a Cryo or something similar, as well as to compare him to Dark Fred. All of the abuse and the inhumanity (being forced to bench-press 3,000 pounds when his apparent "limit" was 1,800 and nearly getting killed, sleeping with no bed, measured verbal abuse and harassment, and even a little sexual innuendos) reduced Fred's confidence. Not to mention that the alternative was life as a drunkard mercenary in a town without work. It was a nightmarish drill exercise. All of this hatred and abuse would normally have been bottled inside, but Fred's subconscious magic mind picked up the presence of a "blotter", Dark Fred. It could alleviate these emotions with this blotter, and then pick them back up in sleep so they could go away. As Dark Fred slowly became more demented and uncontrollable, the brutality on both of them increased. Thus, Fred's mind was soon completely pouring away the emotions into Dark Fred. Many of Dark Fred's largest personality traits are elements of Fred's subconscious thought at that moment. His brutality and sadism comes from Fred's desire to strike back at his brutal drill instructors. Dark Fred's demented sexual ways (necrophilia, rape, etc.) are results of the brutal innuendo that came from Fred's teachers. Dark Fred's constant need to prove himself and constant need for big toys came from Fred's need to prove himself with impossible tasks and from the small rewards he was getting. Almost all of DF's traits come from, a least to some extent, Fred's "blotting" of these dark emotions. Otherwise, DF would have been a fairly controllable superassassin.
How to Get this Fusion:
These two hate each other immensely. The concept of fusion will be, for much of the story, likely an out of the question issue. One could perhaps get the fusion temporarily if DF and Fred are stuck with no other options against a mutual enemy. Such a fusion would likely addict both of them to the concept of fusion. The main event, though, will be when both of them are Universal Magis. Depending on how you play, DF or Fred can go Universal Magi first. When both of them have reached that vaunted plateau, the final battle between the two can take place. This will be a high-stakes battle, as it will likely embody the teachings of their instructors, Drock Balban and the King of Blood. In the end, the victor takes the spoils. Fred is usually quite a deal more powerful, but DF has a few tricks up his sleeve, so be careful.
Appearance:
Depending on who is in control at the moment, the two either look like adult Fred with red wings or the Ultimate Blood Angel with a horrid mockery of Fred's face.
Abilities:
Note: All of Fred and Dark Fred's abilities, but also some of the following fusions.
Liquefy: This move combines Molecular Diffusion and Blood Magnet. By exerting molecular diffusion on the skin and simultaneously causing Blood Magnet effects to cause a pumping of blood outwards, the two can explode and liquefy enemies.
