Kirby
Kirby is a famous character and the star of many games. He is the protector of the Dream Star and an awesome fighter.
Starting Level:
25.
Abilities:
Brick: Kirby automatically has two moves in Memory from Super Smash Bros: Brick and Cut. Brick lets Kirby hit enemies under him with a powerful smash.
Combination: Kirby, from Kirby 64, has the power to combine two powers and get cool abilities. For instance, if he combines Fire and Rock, he becomes a volcano! Combination works with Memory.
Cut: Kirby can automatically do a sword attack that doubles as a projectile.
Eat: Kirby can suck in his enemies and do a few things with them. He can Swallow, Spit, or Make Comrade.
Fly: By blowing up like a balloon, Kirby can fly without limit. Bear in mind that the speed is equal to jumping.
Make Comrade: After Kirby has Swallowed an enemy, he can turn them into a helpful and loyal companion. Their brains aren't do impressive, but they do follow cues like to move when Kirby's moving and to not attack when Kirby is not attacking.
Megaton Punch: This powerful ability is developed in Kirby Super Star. Kirby must first let his power meter charge to max (and hit it when it is max; timing is everything), then hit the target at the proper time, and then hit the timing pendulum precisely. If all three things are done on the dot, expect an amazing smash that can visibly make the Dream Star crack!
Memory: This is not a starting move, so you're going to want to put all of your AP into this as soon as you get Kirby. Basically, this lets Kirby "remember" the enemies he ate and emulate them. Do remember, though, that a power limitation does come in. If he Swallows Dark Fred somehow, he will get DF's power at the approximate power level DF has it. However, with Memory, he will only be able to use it at a power level befitting him. Also note that, similar to Pokemon, Kirby will only be able to "remember" a certain number of moves. This means you're going to have to keep only the most unique, the best Combination, or the most useful powers (not necessarily mutual goals). Of course, the Memory slots will expand with level.
Spit: When Kirby has Eaten an enemy, he may, instead of Swallowing it, Spit it out and nail the enemy with a star.
SSB Challenge:
Swallow: When Kirby has eaten an enemy, he gets their power. There are a few powers that come in the game. I'll list these elsewhere, as after you learn Memory, Kirby will slowly start "remembering" moves from his games. Note that several powers are similar to Mega Man's, but due to their different focus and abilities, the powers will vary.
Tractor Suck: Kirby can develop his Eat ability and make the "pulling" effect much like a tractor beam. One advantage is that it will work in space.
