Thrash and Badcat
Thrash and Badcat need not be considered seperately. They are incredible friends, but mainly, they are the most famous Rangers. The Rangers are an organization that is fused together from FF8's Garden, several smaller organizations on other planets, BOF's Rangers, and a few other, more major sources. They have been united for quite some time, but the Rangers were losing popularity and power before Thrash and Badcat came around. The two warriors were already level 100 or above when they joined the Rangers. Soon, the two reached the pinnacle of 255 (not the max in FB, mind you, but a very high sum nonetheless) and had achieved world-wide fame. With their monstrous airship, the Ranger's Wings, they righted injustice and partied all over hundreds of worlds. Thrash and Badcat are, inside, two small souls craving justice and happiness. They have been turned into party animals, but they still hate evil, and will try to root it out like a cancer whenever they see it. They both are very nice people, and when the Ranger's Wings crashes at the beginning, many are remorseful, not excluding Fred.
Badcat
Partner and righthand man to Thrash. Any resistance or movement organized by Thrash is always seconded by Badcat. His alcohol tolerance is legendary, superior even to Thrash's.
Attributes:
Speed: High
Height: 6'2" normally, but he does grow around Thrash
Weight: 145 lbs; he's real light
Description:
Abilities:
Comet Lance: Badcat's DBZ style is different from Thrash's. It tends to be more about using the environment around the fighter and is also more defensive. In this case, Badcat throws a rock that is then surrounded by a Ball Lance (ball around a stream of energy).
Earth Energy Wave: Badcat launches energy into the ground and watches a huge shockwave of earth emerge. The attack can either be used to absorb the power of an attack or to hit an enemy.
Growth: Badcat can shrink to 4 feet tall or grow up to 9 feet tall (this is not the regular Growth, which is designed to get a giant).
Equipment:
MegaScythe: A powerful magical item, though not as legendary as Neutral Excalibur. It is a dynamic weapon.
Magic:
All of the spells offered by the Overlord Esper.
Thrash
An amazingly righteous warrior. This broadsword wielding barbarian may seem to have far less skill than his ruffled companion, but in fact Thrash has an immense grasp of tactics, and his far less volatile thinking leads him to generally be a better strategist (though not tactician). He claims to only fight with Badcat to "make sure that that crazyass guy doesn't get himself killed", but the two's mutual contempt actually hides a great love and friendship equal to brotherhood. Thrash also has the same relationship to Fred.
Abilities:
I'll get to work on listing them, but basically assume that he has a prolific melting pot, drawing from DBZ skills to most of the Final Fantasy Job/Materia skills to Diablo II Barbarian skills.
Coil Shock: This powerful ancient Namekian art involves firing a near-invisible silver energy "cord" into an enemy. The cord does miniscule damage, but what comes next does. Thrash then sends down a powerful energy shock that, if not dodged, will burn a spiral hole through most enemies!
Growth: Thrash has mastered the Piccolo-style art of small growth. He does not become a massive giant, but instead merely shrinks down to 6 feet or goes up to about 9'9".
Spiral Cannon: Thrash is a master of an ancient style of Namekian fighting. In this particular move, he makes circles with his hands and then blasts rapid-firing spirals.
Statistics:
Speed: High, but less than Badcat.
Height: 7'4" most of the time
Weight: 300 lbs
Equipment:
Neutral Excalibur: Neutral Excalibur is a prized blade. One of the three Excaliburs made by the Enigmatic Blacksmith. One of it's brothers belongs to the Demon of War in the Netherealms, while the other belongs to the Phenomenon Champion Knight. Thrash has attempted to keep his blade free from technological modification. For one, the edges cannot be sharpened anymore than they are, and the material is an unknown one of ancient origin. The Enigmatic Blacksmith would alone be able to reforge it, and he is quite difficult to find or even identify.
