Worms: Armageddon Teams
These teams of miniature worms strike fear into the heart of everyone. They are armed to the teeth and vicious! Regrettably, their diminuitive weaponry makes them less threatening.... at least early on.
How to Get Them:
That may be somewhat hard. A simple way, of course, would be to wish for them. Another way would be to use the Fated One Finder, in conjunction with Shrink spells, to locate and convince them.
Starting Level:
About 20-35; fairly good experience for being worms.
Abilities:
Crate Spy: Know the contents of all crates, chests, boxes, etc. unless specially shielded.
Dragon Punch:
Fast Walk: Walk much faster temporarily.
Earthquake: Summon a earthquake to rock everything, pushing people all over the place.
Growth: At about level 60 or so (without ABP allocation), they develop the ability to grow into man-sized worms. Their equipment grows too, meaning that their power becomes quite dangerous.
Scale Firepower: This ability, learned at level 130 without ABP allocation, allows them to use their weapons at diminuitive size, but with power befitting their giant size.
Equipment:
Air Strike: This is simple: summon 5 missiles upon an enemy.
Baseball Bat: Smack enemies! Score home runs! Send worms (and others) flying!
Battle Axe: Halve enemy's HP. "Saving" against this is not a matter of magic resistance, by the way.
Bazooka: Simple enough. Point your bazooka, charge for velocity, and then let loose. Wind will affect the direction.
Blowtorch: Bust your way through walls, or burn enemies for mild damage.
Cluster Grenade: Explodes and spreads clusters to blow up.
Crate Shower: Crates continually randomly appear, yielding rewards based on luck.
Dynamite: Simple and classic. Drop a stick of dynamite and watch as it explodes in 5 seconds.
Flamethrower: Flames just keep coming and coming, pushing worms and burning them.
Holy Hand Grenades: These powerful explosives pack a punch, and will also do incredible damage to those not worthy of salvation!
Homing Pigeon: Essentially pumped up Homing Missiles, these little birdies will fly around obstacles to your destination. However, they do have a limited movement capacity, so don't shoot hem near a wall...
Jet Pack: Fly around and drop explosives on your enemies.
Low Gravity: Activate this to jump and backflip ludicrously, or to send enemies flying with even more distance. Your choice. Remains active for an entire turn.
Mike's Carpet Bomb: This drops 5 carpets that bounce erratically and explode several times before being consumed.
Minigun: Shoot enemies for about 1.5 seconds.
Ninja Rope: This grappling item is intended to pull worms up to higher points that they could reach by.... uh, foot?
Pnuematic Drill: Burrow a hole in the landscape, and hurt those underneath you.
Skunk: First, nail an enemy with toxic fumes for 5 seconds, then watch as it explodes!
Suicide Bomber: Hit someone with an explosive AND make them poisoned!
Super Sheep: Throw these babies, let them bounce a little, and then watch as they transform into the Super Sheep. Remote control them to your destination!
Teleport: Teleport around to get strategic shots.
Uzi: Shoot enemies a few times.
