Ancient Master Job

The Ancient Master Job is based off of the Heroes Unlimited class, who are old men (at least 40 or so) who are incredible martial arts adepts.

How to Get It: Refine an Ancient Master at the Job Shrine. Ancient Masters have 1D6+3 levels; we'll just assume the minimum, level 4.

Abilities:

L1: Level 1 Abilities: Following the HU style, the Level 1 character has a large selection of abilities. Has some skills, but here are the main points:

In addition, the character can:

Feign Death at 82%.

Cleansing Spirit at 78%. This allows the character to destroy disease, drugs and poisons.

Positive Energy. This halves melee attacks, but makes P.S. supernatural, makes energy attacks inflict half damage, poisons are half as effective and last half as long, +5 to save vs. magic, and +3 to save vs. psionics. Considering the Ancient Master's already considerable bonuses, this is incredible.

Channel and Unleash Physical Energy. This is an intense chi blast that does 3D6+8 damage and has 20 foot range. It counts as four melee attacks, though. Bear in mind that this does damage comparable to a .357 magnum or a .30 caliber rifle.

And one Extraordinary Power, everything from Extaordinary M.A. to Energy Resistance to Supervision: Advanced Sight.

P.P.E. is 1D6x10, which is not bad at all, although definitely not magician level.

L2 Abilities: L2 is actually HU level 6. The character gains +1 to pull punch, appropriate skill bonuses, +4% to Feign Death, +4% to Cleansing Spirit, an additional 10 feet and 2 damage to physical energy blast, +1D6 to P.P.E., and appropriate bonuses to the minor superpower.

L3 Abilities: L3 is HU level 7. The character gains +1 on initative, +1 to strike and parry, +5% to save v. coma/death, appropriate skill bonuses, +2% to Feign Death, +2% to Cleansing Spirit, +5 feet and 2 damage to blast, +1D6 to P.P.E.

L4 Abilities: L4 is HU level 8. Major Job level! +1 melee attack, +1 to dodge and auto dodge, +1 to auto body flip, +1 to disarm, +1 pull punch, +1 to roll with punch, +1 to save vs. Horror Factor, and identical bonuses to the "other" powers.

L5 Abilities: L5 is HU level 9.
