Animorphs

Animorphs is a series made by K. A. Applegate. It is an excellent story series for teenagers and younger, and it has excellently research animals and good storytelling. Unfortunately, tons are made, so I haven't kept up with it. But Animorphs are still cool, not to mention useful in Final Battle :).
