My Favorite Music
Here is a list of bands I like. The Don't Like List is coming soon. Click on the link to see what CDs that band has (sometimes not a complete list, thanks to singles and collections) and which of those CDs I own.
Arek Excelsior's music qualifications:
1. The instrumentals have to be good. Okay instrumentals are forgiven if the rest of the song is good.
2. The lyrics are my major sticking point. Tons of songs are just singing about nothing. Bad Religion sings about important subjects with an extremely intelligent view; Metallica is wonderfully poetic while singing about insane people (Battery, Harvester of Sorrow, Master of Puppets...); Bob Marley has a softness even when he is going full out on the anger scale. But the lyrics really matter, people.
