This is the homepage for the dragonhealing at Silverskies MUSH. This site contains all the information that you will require to progress through the ranks to become a Capable Dragonhealer. If you are not currently part of the program you need to contact the current administrators for your program at your Weyr.
At each Weyr there will be one Senior Dragonhealer who is in charge of running the program, making sure people get trained, and ensuring that everything is kept up to date, and to canon. If something is not contained within this site, with reference to dragon injuries or dragonhealing, please treat is as non canon unless you have discussed the item first with the Senior Dragonhealer at your Weyr. The Senior Dragonhealer will also be able to travel to the other Weyr for teaching purposes. The program is completely interchanagable and any unit complete at one Weyr will be given credit for at the other Weyr.
Each Senior is assisted by Capable Dragonhealers, those Dragonhealers who have completed the necessary training, and will be assisted by Trainee and Novice Dragonhealers who are at different stages of Dragonhealing training.
Currently, the following are Senior Dragonhealers:
Fort Weyr: VACANT Monaco Weyr: Eliwys
Novice:
All trainees new to the Dagonhealing program shall be designated Novice, regardless
of age, rank, or craft affiliation. Novices must pass a certain number of targets
and a general competency exam to be considered Trainees.
Trainees:
Those who have passed the Novice examination are considered Trainees,
and will embark on studies of more delicate or exacting areas
of dragon health. The remainder of the specified targets and a
general competency exam are required to be considered Capable.
Capable:
Capable Dragonhealers have completed all the necessary studies
and are confirmed in their ability. Capables may assist the senior
in any capacity, and may eventually become Senior in a Weyr.
