The Great Hall

As you and the King walk through the door into the Great Hall,
you are struck by the beauty of the massive hall.
You see rich tapestries hanging from most of the walls.
You see thick damask draperies over all of the imported windows.
The drapes are the color of emerald green. Your attention
is drawn to the massive fireplace. There above the fireplace you
can't help but to see a large clan crest.
You are thoroughly impressed by the interior of the Great Hall.

To one side of the hall you see a richly appointed bar made of dark mahogany wood.
The bar gives the room a feeling of comfort and familiarity to
family and visitors alike. For some odd reason you feel almost at home
in this remarkable place.

The architectural marvel of this place continues to amaze you as you look around.
You see marbled floors and richly wainscoted walls with dark mahogany and teak wood.
You see a dais off from the main area of the fireplace.
There upon the dais you see two richly designed thrones. One each belonging to
the King and the other to the Queen.
Behind the thrones you see tapestries depicting hunting scenes in the colors of
greens, browns, vibrant blues, and many other colors bringing the tapestry almost to life.

As you turn your direction back to the fireplace you see a bank of chairs and couches.
The area looks inviting for someone to have a nice discussion almost about
any subject matter, whether serious or warm in nature.
A little ways off you see a formal table,
giving the impression that this is an area to have family talks or serious debates.

You turn your attentions back to the fireplace, and you can't help but notice
an area of large chairs and couches arranged closely, but in a comforting fashion.
There you see Persian rugs and carpets thrown about to keep one's feet from
nearly freezing on the beautiful Italian marbled floors.
You think to yourself, "This grand place was decorated with much detail
and lots of love. I could feel at home here, why anyone could."
You continue to look about and the more you see the more you feel
like you had really come home.

You hear the Queen ask you, "Would you care to tell us about yourself?
We would be most interested in learning of your familia and of you.
Visitors are always welcomed in the castle as long as they come in
peace and with no ill intent to any here within this place that we call home.
But then again, maybe you could find a home with us as well...."
