Fortubo (for-TOO-boh) appears as a small, almost dwarvish-looking man. Most of his current clerics are dwarves, although some humans and a very few lawful Halflings worship him. He is allied with Moradin and Berronar of the Dwarvish Powers.

Fortubo is never kind to those who have fallen from Good, though he tolerates those of neutral alignments. He is vehemently opposed to theft or murder, he is opposed to Evil and the subjugation of his followers, and will offer indirect aid to those who would free one of his people or re-establish a temple to himself.

Focus on your tasks. Do not allow yourself to be distracted by other careers or concerns outside of protecting the community. Feel your kinship with the stone and do not cut it more than what your community needs. Commit no theft, murder, or evil, for they will shackle you more strongly than any chains.

The clerics of Fortubo are protectors of the community, and will defend it from all outside threats. They are known to have great defensive tactics and fortifications, and can rally their congregations in the face of almost certain death. Fortubo encourages married couples to enter the clergy together, and will bless any children of such a match with exceptional wisdom and constitution.

Temples to Fortubo are often set up in natural underground complexes or caves, sometimes associated with a nearby mining operation. Aboveground temples are always built in areas heavily populated by miners or dwarves.
