Graz'zt, the Ebon Lord of Abat-Dolor, father to the vile Iuz the Old and ruller of Azzagart, the Triple Realm, is perhaps the Demon Prince most closely tied to the affairs of Wearth. He is, by appearances, the most human of all monarchs, but appearances are hardly absolute when dealing with Demon Princes. Graz'zt has become so successful in teh Abyss simple because he is unflinchingly evil and a brilliant strategist.

Graz'zt sired the Old One who currently controls a large area of Wearth, and is a hated figure in the texts of nearly every benevolent Power known. It was Graz'zt who helped Iggwilv, the great Sorceror Queen, who dominated eastern Wearth during the Rule of the Sorceror Kings thousands of years ago. And it is said that Graz'zt still meddles in teh affairs of Wearth today, though he is unable at actually come here himself.

Perhaps most frightning of all, Graz'zt has somehow managed to command a large segment of the Dark Elves living on Wearth, and he has found someway to grant spells to his followers. How he does this is a matter of great interest to nearly every demon in the Abyss more powerful than a Vrock, and, of course, Lolth is livid with the Dark Elf turncoats.
