As befits a many-armed warrior Power, he employs a variety of weapons, as do his clerics. He seeks to conquer or destroy any that oppose him. He is the arch-for of Heironeous. His icon is the Symbol of Hate and Discord, six red arrows facing downward in a fan.
The world is a dark and bloody place where the strong rule the weak, and power is the only reward. It is often necessary to be cruel and merciless in the pursuit of ones goals, and achieving those goals can have harsh consequences. Order must be forged out of chaos and law out of anarchy. The forces of tyranny must be obeyed and dissenters must be oppressed or destroyed.
Hextor is worshipped by evil warriors and assassins, mercenaries and murders. His following has always been strongest within the lands of the more "civilized" City States. Services to him include discordant music from win instruments, shouting and screaming, and the striking of iron weapons. The greatest temples are built on sites of great battles or bloodshed.
His clerics are skilled combatants and assassins, cruel and violent, bereft of subtlety while still being cunning and wily. Hextor's clerics constantly train themselves in the art of war, for they plan or lead attacks on rebels and do-gooders. Many serve petty or powerful leader, still others have achieved significant political positions of their own, particularly within the lands of the World Emperor The church hierarchy is rigid, dominated by strength and cruelty.
