Joramy (JOR-um-ee), Maiden of Disputes, Mistress of Heat, The Furious Inferno, The Raging Volcano, is the Power of flaming wrath; the "erupting volcano" both literally and figuratively. She is seen as a beautiful women with long flaming-red hair and burning, red eyes, hot-tempered but generally good-natured. She wears red plate mail and wields a large flaming sword. With this great, fiery blade she strikes down and reduces to cinders, those evil beings who would use fire for malevolent purposes. Joramy argues for the sake of arguing, and uses emotional arguments when rational ones fail. She is on good terms with non-evil powers who enjot their aggressive side, but disdains emotionaly distant Powers such as Delleb, Rao, and Zodal. Her holy symbol is a volcano.

The dance of a flame and the twisting patterns of molten rock are the most beautiful sights in the world, representing fire's argument with the earth. Let your passions burn as hot as these things, and never back down when you have the opportunity to convert someone to your perspective. Ideals and opinions are what forms and shapes a person, and not defending with all your efforts what you hold in your heart to be true is a betrayal to yourself and your ideals. Any rival opinion is a challenge - answer that challenge with the same fervor that you would a physical threat.

In some areas, services take place within an inactive (or even, rarely, a still active) volcano. Regardless of where the services take place, clerics stand at the head of the worshippers and give their sermons from within circles of flame.

Clerics of Joramy make good political leaders and revolutionaries. They are willing to defend their ideals to the death and have a gift for inspiring others to do the same. Many work as diplomats for small but aggressive rulers, where their tendecy to escalate talks into heated arguments makes their patrons appear stronger than they are. The go adventuring to find new people to argue with and new causes to champion.

The clergy acts also as "firefighters" of the immediate surrounding area. They will seek to limit the destructive powers of fire, unless that which being destroyed is evil or unnatural – in which case, the destruction is perceived to represent the will of their Power. A heated rivalry exists between the clerics of Joramy and those of Pyremius. Clerics are expected to foil the evil machinations of Pyremius’ order whenever possible, or, at the very least, diminish the influence of this evil cult.
