Malikon is one of the more subtle of the Demon Powers, and is less dedicated to chaos and destruction than his brethren. He seeks to gain dominance through subterfuge rather than direct force. His main center of power is the Council, a group of conspirators located somewhere in the Antil Peninsula. From their hidden stronghold, they seek to influence events in both the City States of the World Emperor and the Invincible Overlord. It is known that their agents have penetrated many criminal organizations. They also have many allies in humanoid regions throughout Wearth, and are rumored to even have contacts among the Dark Elves in Ghinor. His clerics are always seeking to turn new nations to Malikon’s cause.

Malikon is known to have great enmity with the Demon Power Lolth, as well as with Fraz'Urb'Lu (Demon Prince of Deception). He is currently allied with Graz’zt and Yeenoghu. One thing that keeps his power in check is the fact that Iuz dislikes Malikon and sees him as a rival for the nations of Wearth. Iuz is more heavy handed than Malikon so the battles between their respective clerics can get out of hand.

Malikon normally appears as a shadowy figure in rune-covered black plate armor, wearing a great cloak of mingled fire and shadow. It is unknown if this is his true form.
