Wenta (WEN-tah) is one of the four Powers of the seasons. These are ancient Powers worshipped mostly now days only by the common folk. In the distant past these Powers were much more active and still are considered powerful in that they are the actual forces of the seasons, as much as personification. Early in Wearth’s past the four Powers of the Seasons (Atroa, Sotillion, Wenta, and Telchur) formed a single hierarchy, as all were part of Beory. Now it is rare to find any acting in concert.

Wenta, "The Mistress of Twilight", is always seen as a beautiful, middle-aged women with dark hair and a widows peak. She is adorned in simple robes of red-brown and yellow and carries a staff. The wisdom and maturity that comes with age is considered her blessing. She is the elder sister of Atroa and Sotillion and younger sister of Telchur.

The cool winds of autumn are Wenta's sigh that it is time to reap. Winter's cold can be delayed with the warmth of ale and beer, and brewing deserves as much care as you would give your lover. A day of hard work in autumn is repaid with pleasantly cool nights, good friends, and plenty of good drink to loosen your tongue and quicken your heart.

Wenta’s clergy originally acted as teachers and counselors of the other seasonal Powers (excluding the clerics of Telchur), and the community as a whole. Clerics still act as teachers in their respective communities today, as well. Wenta's clerics are friendly, outgoing, and unafraid to talk to strangers. Their time of prayer is a brief interval before sundown. They organize gatherings and direct harvest procedures so that work is shared fairly by all and finished early. Many work as brewmasters and travel to other parts of the world to enjoy the weather and local spirts. They adventure to meet new people and spend time with friends, or because they agreed to do so while intoxicated. Their holy water is actually blessed ale or beer.
