Castle Beldak

This castle belongs to Lord Beldak the Grey. He started out as a "river bandit" and built his castle on an island in the middle of the Ruling River. He is now somewhat more respectable, "taxing" all river traffic that passes by. The only exception is river traffic from the town of Tarsh. Earlier villagers from Tarsh saved his life after his small farming community was destroyed by marauding orcs. He has a very deep hatred for orcs and half-orcs to this day. Needless to say, no orc crewed ships pass this point on the river. He also commands two strongholds on either side of the river that use cables to move barges across the fast flowing Ruling River, thus he is in a position to tax all traffic to and from the Orclands.
