The Cliff-Face
This is the name given to the cliffs that stretch along the entire coast. From the Dwarf-Road in the west all the way south to almost Tarantis. In the north the top of the Cliff-Face contains the Ered Morghain range of mountains. To the south the top of the Cliff-Face is the Glow-Worm Steppes. At the mouth of the Valley of the Ancients, the Cliff-Face reaches a height of almost 7000 feet. To the south it slowly drops down, to where it is only 2000 feet high at the Mooren Falls (185 miles south of the entrance to the Valley of the Ancients). These nearly shear cliffs, combined with the Mistwall, make for very late morning sun as it rises in the east. Where woodlands grow near the Cliff-Face, the only times full sunlight reaches down is at high noon. The Cliff-Face is riddled with small caves and abandoned mines and monster lairs.
