Thinkpad 600
The IBM ThinkPad 600 has a large 13.3-inch SVGA TFT LCD (measured diagonally) display and the styling of the tilted keyboard with built-in palm rest. This system has a large-capacity 3.2GB hard disk drive (HDD) storage, dual infrared (IR) transceivers, 16M color support on the TFT LCD, and with the highly functional ThinkPad UltraBay you have almost everything you need in a compact, light-weight notebook. All have been designed to be compatible with Sound Blaster Pro audio and can accept a CD-ROM, and Battery (not guaranteed to hold a charge) options which are all included in this package. System memory is a base 32MB, and has be expanded up to 64MB with 1 IBM 32MB memory option. It has a max of upto 288MB using ThinkPad Proven vendor memory options. These color ThinkPad 600 models emphasize fast performance and advanced function at a low price.
The Hard Drive has been pre-formatted and a fresh install of Microsoft Windows XP Professional was installed to show the capabilities of this system. This system ready is for your operating system.
Note: Once you recieve this system, You MUST delete this installed copy of XP Pro and install your own registered copy of Windows unless you have a License to keep it.
A Thinkpad 600 system combined with any one of the IBM docking solutions can easily become your primary PC, providing an alternative to a desktop system unit.

24x CD-ROM Drive
As mentioned before, included is a quick 24x speed CD-ROM drive unit. This allows the thinkpad to have cd-rom capabilities to play music CD's, play CD-ROM's, and CD-R's.

Included is the SelectABase 600. It is in perfect working order and is very clean. It allows for the use of external devices such as a monitor, optional keyboard and printer without connecting/disconnecting each device individually every time you move your notebook.
