Bow
Bow is Ryu's long time friend and a former thief. The two met up in Gate and have had many adventures together as Rangers in Hometown. His weapon is the crossbow which is useful when equipped with a bow that can fire multiple times. He specializes in Healing magic and should be quite useful to the latter part of the game. At the beginning of the game, he is framed for stealing valuable treasures from Trout(a resident of Hometown). Ryu must find the real thief and clear Bow's good name. This quest takes up about the first half of the game(Very boring, eh), so you cannot use Bow for quite some time, but a plus. He levels up very quickly.
