Meanwhile, Carlito said he had business
to take care of and bounced. Jacquio was given simple instructions
to purchase a computer along with whatever software he needed. You can
read what he did here.
The Quiet Storm in myriad forms had to recuperate, and some members left
the coterie and new members joined. For example, a grand conference
took place in Glen Burnie (much to the delight of Jared Tice, as it would
be good for his status) that included Justicar Pascek, Archon Theo Bell,
Marcus Vitel, Alexander Garlotte, Jan Pieterzoon, Victoria Ash, Lydia,
Maria Chin, Robert Gainesmil, and many others. Pieterzoon, just
arriving from Europe, facilitated the meeting, and announced that the
Camarilla of Europe would not get involved in response to the Sabbat's
recent activities. He also congratulated clan Tremere for holding
down their chantry in D.C. To date, the Sabbat weren't able to penetrate
it. Plans were discussed to form an army in Buffalo, New York, the
last major Camarilla stronghold on the East Coast. As the Sabbat
prepare to take Buffalo, the Camarilla would flank them and force a two
front battle. Due to the population problem in Maryland, some of
Maryland's kindred would have to go. Those who survived could come
back at another time. Ultimately, the primogen of Maryland would
decide who stays and who goes, but volunteers were nevertheless reccommend.
There was one vocal objection, and Theo Bell took his head off with a
shotgun backed by dragonsbreath ammunition at the literal blink of an
eye. It was during this meeting that Garlotte established himself
as the defacto primogen for the Ventrue while he stays in Annapolis. |
