Meanwhile, Carlito said he had business to take care of and bounced.  Jacquio was given simple instructions to purchase a computer along with whatever software he needed. You can read what he did here.  The Quiet Storm in myriad forms had to recuperate, and some members left the coterie and new members joined.  For example, a grand conference took place in Glen Burnie (much to the delight of Jared Tice, as it would be good for his status) that included Justicar Pascek, Archon Theo Bell, Marcus Vitel, Alexander Garlotte, Jan Pieterzoon, Victoria Ash, Lydia, Maria Chin, Robert Gainesmil, and many others.  Pieterzoon, just arriving from Europe, facilitated the meeting, and announced that the Camarilla of Europe would not get involved in response to the Sabbat's recent activities.  He also congratulated clan Tremere for holding down their chantry in D.C.  To date, the Sabbat weren't able to penetrate it.  Plans were discussed to form an army in Buffalo, New York, the last major Camarilla stronghold on the East Coast.  As the Sabbat prepare to take Buffalo, the Camarilla would flank them and force a two front battle.  Due to the population problem in Maryland, some of Maryland's kindred would have to go.  Those who survived could come back at another time.  Ultimately, the primogen of Maryland would decide who stays and who goes, but volunteers were nevertheless reccommend.  There was one vocal objection, and Theo Bell took his head off with a shotgun backed by dragonsbreath ammunition at the literal blink of an eye.  It was during this meeting that Garlotte established himself as the defacto primogen for the Ventrue while he stays in Annapolis.

Nicolai immediately volunteered Gabriel and his partner Grizzly to go to Buffalo.  Gabriel was upset, but Nicolai gave him two choices: leave or die.  Nicolai did not like the fact that so many rabble had come to the Baltimore area to agitate his situation; he had enough problems as it was.  Jersee, another of Gabriel's mercenary partners, was allowed to stay so long as he didn't make trouble.

Victoria Ash reccommended that all Toreador neonates should be sent to Buffalo, but Natasha not only ignored her demands, but affirmed her position as primogen.  Victoria was not pleased.  However, she openly declared respect for Natasha's judgement and said she would dedicate "a song" in Natasha's honor on her next album.  Natasha decided to send Ken Halo to Buffalo, because although she likes him she needs Spidee more right now.  Robert Gainesmil would merely maintain his haven and position at Annapolis.

Siegfred tried to coeerce Kashim to go to Baltimore, but Kashim maintained, for his sire, Helena Taylor, left specific instructions for him.  Siegfred had two new recruits: Cornelius Boulevard and Veneficus.  He wasn't thrilled about them either, but ultimately, he let the issue go, because in his unbeating heart he knew that he needed all the help he could get.

Susan Levrette and her entourage didn't show up to the conference, and quite frankly, no one cared...

Although a select few Nosferatu were present, they didn't seem to have adequate representation, especially in terms of a primogen...

As stated above, Alexander Garlotte established himself as primogen at this meeting.  Valence Williams volunteered to go to Buffalo, where he felt it was safer and there were more opportunities for success (boy, was he wrong...).  A new arrival known as Zak requested to stay in the Baltimore area.  He was a crack dealer whose interests in Baltimore were literally subjugated.  For some reason, the police were a lot harder on crack than they were on the thriving heroin trade...
