To say the very least, the streets of Cherry Hill were watching. It was clear that a gang war was taking place, which was unusual. Random violence happened all the time, but crime hadn't been this organized for decades (especially since the demise of the crime boss Goldie). Meanwhile, Nicodemus was selling out the coterie to Colchester shamelessly. He is a man of stealth and yet he didn't notice Dionne listening on the whole thing, and she later notified Spidee. Nicodemus was notified that one of Colchester's informants spoke of a MAJOR heroin shipment coming to town from the docks of Wagners Point, where every resident had been recently evacuated because it provided for the highest cancer rate in the United States. Well, there's that and other...strange things that take place there. There would be a ship coming in called Sangria Nocce.
A third raid was supposed to take place, but as Nicodemus scouted the house, he noticed it was empty, and it exploded a short time later, sending Nicodemus into rostreck. Even though the explosion was not the fault of Quiet Storm, they gained the credit for it with media attention. You would think someone wanted them to get credit for that. In any event, Quiet Storm obtained permission from Nicolai to investigate the heroin shipment, as Wagner's Point was in his territory. Things went downhill from there. As the tree cars approached the rendevous, the 1st car, containing Spidee, Jerzee, and Cain, began to fog up and flip over. The second car, containing Zakk, Kashim, and Veneficus, became freezing cold and then began to bleed. By the time the coterie noticed the black van and the white van nearby, the gunplay had already begun.
The white van was being loaded and defended while the black van, with the rotating machine gun, attacked. As Nicodemus tried to throw a grenade (he seems to like them), the grenade stopped, rose 30 ft. in the air, and then detonated and was heard for miles. Spidee's A.K. 47 jammed, and Jerzee was being choked in spite of the fact that no one was there. Jerzee, Cain, and later Spidee, tried to flip the white van over, unsuccessfully. Spidee smashed the windows of the van only to see no one driving, yet the steering wheel was moving. When it began to rain toads, everyone knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was time to retreat and suck this one up as a loss. As Nicodemus provided a [cramped] getaway car, the white van pursues them and the in explicably explodes. It turns out that there was no heroin, this was a shipment of silver bullets! Spidee immediate thought about Carlito, they were coming for him. Sh*t! As retainers crawl from the wreckage, Spidee fed from one of them and became partially blood bound to...Giovanni? The other retainers' chests simply exploded afterward.
When the coterie returned to the haven, Spidee received a message from, "Mr. G about his broken property." Knowing that they are in way over their heads, Jerzee calls Tooth, and Tooth explains that Nicolai would like to see them. So Jerzee and Spidee left for Nicolai's strip club/office, while everyone else licked their wounds. As they enter the club (and after Jerzee gets chastised by Tooth for his stupidity in dealing with the Scourge), they notice Nicolai sitting at a table talking to a white male in a white suit. As they get there, the man is gone, but Nicolai has words about their failure in Wagner's Point. When they ask for help, suddenly a giant, naked, green demon-man appears before them. In awe, they met the legendary Tavalkus of clan Nosferatu. Tavalkus explained that they were misinformed by a Sabbat informant who'd paid with their life. Apparently Kroeber was toying with Quiet Storm and trying to play them against the Giovanni. It was around this time that Spidee, becoming increasingly paranoid, began to wear various masks to hide his identity.
