Sarlana (A'laena Sar) Windstar
Sarlana Windstar, known as A'laena Sar in Elven, or Little Star, is a young Elven of sixteen who has been on her own since she was eight years old, when her villiage, Elashta, meaning Followers of the Stars in Elvish, was attacked and her parents were killed. She was too young to remember if she had any siblings or not that may have been saved from the attack. When this happened, the High Chief, Chief Elvaleryn, proclaimed that this child had a special gift among the Elven people, and she was the Elashtan Princess. She was given the Elvish name 'A'laena Sar'.
Sarlana was taken care of by the surviving people of the village, but she was especially close with an old hermit named Enrai, who had no child of his own. He taught her how to use a bow and arrow, how to use a sword, and he taught her how to read and write in Elven and in English as well. He found that she had extroardinary abilities, that she didn't know about, but among them was drawing. He kept these abilities a secret to her, as if to protect her. The old hermit sonn fell sick, and died when she was twelve. When this happened, she stayed in the village, still being called their Princess.
When she was sixteen, she finally set out to explore the other villages and kingdoms of the world, only bringing with her memories, and the things important to her, along with her weapons. Now she journeys through the lands, searching for adventures of any kind and anywhere.

This page was created last night, 4/14/02, along with the character, Sarlana Hope Windstar. I'm still thinking of things to put up on the site about Sarlana, but I definately know there will be a section where I will post my story that I'll write about her, and there will be a section where her backround goes more indepth, I think, but I might save that for the story. There will be a section telling about the Ancient book she carries, and perhaps one about the crystal she wears around her neck, which I think will link the powers she doesn't know she has. If you have any suggestions or ideas, use my email as a guestbook, because the one I had tried didn't work, for now to tell them to me, and I'll see what suggestions I can use. Well, that's about it for now!
