Description:
The tavern, in itself is large enough to fit eight dragons. On the sides and front of the
tavern are horse stalls for people to place their horses sufficient enough to protect them
from rain. Once inside, there is a bar, for those who drink to the left.
The pool built with a separate spa for those who are travelers with a waterfall is beyond the
bar toward the back. Near the pool with the waterfall is a spring of hot water to massage and
relax the muscles long and wide enough to hold one dragon. On the otherside of the pool, is a
shelf with
towels for guests to dry themselves off (not dragons however). The towels are white and two
golden letters, P for pacific, and T for Tavern are embedded in them. Next to the shelf of
towels are two bins to place the towel in when dry. There are seafood items available for your
pleasure as well as common food placed on a long, wide buffet table in the center of the tavern.
To the right, across from the bar separated by the
buffet table, is where the new band plays. If you have a special tune you want played, consult
the maestro. For your convenience there is a dance floor provided right before the band. The
walls of the tavern are adorned with paintings of mermaids, dolphines, the family Triton,
dolphins, whales, tropical fish, the prince and princess and also the sister of the queen.
There is a 15' x 8' painting of King Euphirius, the first king of the mer-people, near the back
wall behind the band. To the left is a painting of
Queen Celeste's mother, Queen Jasmine, with the same measurments as the kings painting. Both
paintings are a replica of the ones down under the sea.In the far corner to the left in the
tavern is a statue in Euphirus' likeness. He is sitting on a rock and his fish tail is still
there to show what he was. In one hand is the family Triton. In the other is the shield that
goes with it. His face is stern and serious as his hair seems to blow in the wind. The muscles
carved into his arms show strength and force. A necklace around his neck contains a sapphire
stone at the end. A stone used to contact the king when he was elsewhere that Queen Celeste now
wears. Only royalty can touch and wear the jewel. Across from the kings statue is the famous
gigantic oyster called Musculus. The jaws of the oyster are open and on the soft silky bed of
it's tongue is a large, fake pearl. From the ceiling are light bulbs of different colors that
hang freely. The lights usually come on close to nightfall or when many decide to dance.
Standing out from the other light bulbs is a larger light bulb that serves as a spot light.
This tavern was designed especially for those that cannot see the kingdom for themselves.
