We're identical twins, Coriel and I. I'm the oldest, by about 5 minutes.
Our father gave us each a magical ring when we left home. These rings let us communicate over distances.
Our swords were made for us, as well. Each is different, and has a different power.
Our differences run thus: I have short hair, blue-grey eyes, and my ring is amythest and gold. My sword is called Maltanaur, and can light up the darkest place. I tend to be the more serious one, and I am also the most skilled in the magical arts.
My hair, on the other hand, is longer, and my eyes are more of a grey-green. The ring i wear is mithril and star-sapphire, and my sword is called Celebrinaur. It gives the bearer the power to communicate with animals. I'm the more outgoing one, and also the more mischeivous. I'm more skilled in the martial arts.
In our spare time, I can usually be found in a corner somewhere with my nose stuck in a book, whereas Kei is usually outdoors, having inherited our mother's bond with nature.
We probably forgot to mention that we're sort of half-and-half elves. Father is a High Elf, and Mother is of the Silvan folk, the Wood-elves.
