Skills and Interests:
This former mall-rat still enjoys a good day of shopping and can beat anyone’s ass at the video game of their choice. However her re-union with her long lost parents have brought out another side of this vibrant young woman. Embracing her heritage Jubilee has been studying the art of meditation and has learned to both speak and write Chinese. In an effort to improve her patience she has also been learning how to write on rice. Jubes has continued her Martial Arts training, and while she hasn’t flown the BlackBird in a while…she’s sure to still be the crack pilot she always was.

Background:

Life before your Mutation:
Put up for adoption, Jubilation spent the beginning of her life jumping from one foster home to the next. Until her last foster parents called the Mutant Registry when her powers began to show.

Discovering your Power:
Jubes discovered her mutant abilities at home one day. During an argument with her foster parents she accidentally released some ‘sparks’ that melted a near-by tv and vcr.

How you came to Xavier’s School:
She ran away from home and quickly fell in with the X-Men. Lounging at the Mall while trying to figure out where to go next her musings got interrupted by a Sentinel attempting to capture her. Storm, Rogue, and Gambit had been at the Mall and rescued the young girl.

Back History:
While pesky and sometimes down right annoying she won the hearts of all the X-Men. Two in particular became close friends of hers. Gambit and Wolverine. No one expected the withdrawn and gruff Logan to take to the girl, but they soon became fast friends. He treated her like a little sister and she sure lived up to the role. Jube’s followed Wolverine on some of his ‘solo’ adventures and quickly became dubbed his ‘sidekick’.

Not long after her 18th birthday she decided she had to find her birth parents. The X-Men would always be her true family, but she wanted to know where she came from. She left before dawn, having told the Professor her intentions the night before. She knew he’d tell the others, so she left without a word to anyone. However, she did leave a letter for Wolverine on his bed. This was a trip she had to take on her own, but she wanted to make sure Logan understood why.

It’s almost two years later and Jubilee has finally returned to the Mansion. Her quest for her family was successful and she now had an inner peace she had always been lacking. When she left Professor Xavier had told her she could come back and rejoin the team whenever she wished. She has decided to take him up on that offer.

Besides, she can’t wait to show her old teammates what she can do now.

Personality:
Stubborn and determined as ever, she has also learned the value of patience at long last. Talkative, fun-loving, and outgoing don’t begin to describe the entity known as Jubilee!

Special Notes:
Usually seen in a bright yellow trench coat and pink shades.
