The Train
Trains are used quite frequently in Final Fantasy
VIII. They are the preferred method of travel to get
from one location to another.
Ragnarok
Ragnarok is a flying ship that can travel at great
speeds around the planet. You'll find this ship during
Disk 3.
Cars
Cars are also used in this world and are a new addition
to the Final Fantasy Series. As you move around you will
find many different kinds of cars. For the most part,
cars in the game are obtained by paying a fee to rent
them. You can use these cars when travelling on the
world map.
Chocobo's
Last but not least are chocobos. They act the same way
as they did in Final Fantasy VII, but to get them you
have to complete one of the Chocobo Forests, like the
one pictured below.
