Maggie was my geologist for the NASA/Amber blend-game Shadows Flux. She had a Ph'd in her field, a BA in meteorology, and was a certified instructor in rock climbing, mountaineering, and wilderness survival. She was also licensed to carry most small firearms. (Of course, she tended to pack a large Bowie knife along with the gun, but... *shrug*)
Maggie's silver rings, incompletely shown in the picture, were a set of eight, each with stones of blue, green, or purple. The stones were cut in either teardrop, square, or round cuts, with no two adjacent rings containing the same cuts.
Sadly, the game petered out to a silent end two months after it started, sticking Maggie into the retired character archive.
