FHM Hunts
Hardly anyone ever bothers with this lair. Not that the spoils aren't good, but as we all know by now the lair is a pain to get to. But it looks like we're finally going here soon!
As for some general information; the lair is located on M-4. You need several items, as well as 2 grenades or 2 charges of DOOR to get to it. The items needed are a rock armor, a SER, a lightning tanto and a 0/3 sash. See the table below.

Named ninjas on M-4, either with or without SNR, drop a random purple gem. The lair crits always drop the same gems. A lair golem always drops a gem to the Tengu lair, and vice versa. The same goes for the Stunner/Single ninja lair.

Lair stunners will always drop a lightning tanto and take over an hour to regen. Same for single ninja lair. The SER is a random regen, but the Tengu's only take 5 minutes or so to regen and come in pairs. The rock armor is probably the hardest item to obtain; it's a random regen but the lair golem takes over an hour to regen. You'll have to tan him for his rock armor. You can tell if the golem is tanable by looking at him (#look at golem). It'll mention something about bits of stone, you can't miss it.

When you've obtained all the items you need to get to the double ninja lair, you have to cast DOOR or drop a grenade in 2 spots on M-4. Then you can walk through a portal. The portal will take you to a room with some more portals. One of them will warp you right back, but the other one will give you a vision as to what item you need. I believe the order is always the same; lightning tanto first, then rock armor, then 0/3 sash, then the SER. All items poof upon portalling. Okay, on to the good stuff! Our hunt!! It seems I (Shylock), Moe, Haplo, Dahoo, DragonSlayer, Dreads and DarkWolf are going. I'm not sure if Izludicus will tag along, but of course he is welcome to. We are going to try chain dexing in, but I'm not sure the portals will allow it. I'll be the one doing the actual dexing, as the items are tied to me. Haplo is last to die, as he can CC the rest of you all. Everybody can just hold his hally or whatever in their hands, but I'll need Haplo to carry my mama scales, as I have to wear the rock armor myself. I will go in the lair liminvissed; the ninjas can't see through it. Once in the lair I will critcure Haplo, and immediately liminvis him too. After that Haplo CC's the party members one by one, and each will be liminvissed as they are resurrected. When all of the party is alive and kicking, it's time to kick some ninja butt! They hit for about 250 each, but they don't use any psy, so the only usefull prot I can give you is ES. Don't hesitate to ask :) Now I understand most of you can easily survive the hunt, maybe even solo them, but still I ask you to follow the plan above. Safer for all, and I consider this hunt a practice for some of the meaner lairs in Nork. So let's show them we can operate as a team, guildies en guests alike!

When all is said and done, err I mean dead and done, there's the sackable SNR, the +6 gauntlets and the 3/3 sash to be gotten. Personally, I'm in all this for the sash. Not claiming it though. No disrespect to our guests intended whatsoever, but I do think guildies should have first picks on the spoils. We'll decide before the hunt who gets what, so there won't be any confusion about that. Well all there's left to say now is, LET'S KICK BUTT!!
